Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with GymNation. When I joined, I was not clearly informed that the membership payment would be automatically deducted from my account every month. I was told that I could cancel anytime in case of an emergency or any issue. However, this was not the case later. After a few days of joining, I was pressured into taking a personal trainer package costing 4,000 AED per month. I clearly explained that my salary was not enough to afford this, but I still felt forced to proceed. I was encouraged to pay through Tabby, even though I expressed financial concerns. Later, due to personal issues, I decided to cancel my subscription. Instead of assisting me properly, they continued deducting money from my account without my clear consent or proper communication. When I blocked my card to stop the deductions, I started receiving threatening emails demanding payment. Until now, I am still receiving threatening emails, which has caused me a lot of stress. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would advise others to carefully review all terms and conditions before signing anything and to be very cautious about additional packages or payment commitments.

Positive experience: Unlike Golds Gym vertical locker with digital locks where you can keep ur clothes in the locker separately, Gym nation has 2 feet rods on the corner and every one hangs clothes there. I personally don't like it it's not hygienic. But everyone has a individual perspective

Negative experience: I strongly recommend not taking a GymNation membership. My membership was cancelled, yet they still charged my card three times without authorization. This is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Trying to resolve this issue has been exhausting, and the customer service experience has been very poor. No customer should go through this kind of stress after properly cancelling a service. I am posting this to genuinely warn others so they do not face the same situation.

Negative experience: اسوأ تجربة في حياتي كرهت الرياضة والنادي من بعدها .. نضابين وكم غير معقول من قلة الاحترام من سنتين اشتركت معهم وبعد 4 شهور ماقدرت اكمل لاني طلعت من بو ظبي صاروا يسحبوا الفلوس من بطاقتي من دون علمي علماً اني طلبت الغي اشتراكي ،، لكن صاروا يطالبوني بعذر لإلغائي الاشتراك اما شهادة مرض او شهادة موتي او عقد سكن في غير امارة او إلغاء اقامتي في الدولة شو هاااناس دي ماشفت بعمري ابشع من هيك معاملة واليوم بعد سنتين يتصل فيني موظفهم في فرع الريم في ابو ظبي اسمه ليوناردو فلبيني يصرخ ويقلي ادفعي اللي عليكي والا نشرشحك في المحاكم !!؟؟ وفوق منها يقلي إذا انتي ما بتفهمي شو عم تقرأي وعلى شو وقعني مش ذنبنا !! والله ورب العزة لآخد الموضع شكوى ضدكم في المحاكم خاصة اني طلبت مليون مرة مانجر يكلمني او عالقليلة حد يتكلم عربي ما كانوا يطيعوا يتعانوا معي الله لا يسامحكم ابشع تجربة رياضية بعمري

Negative experience: My experience with the gym’s membership process has been very disappointing. I requested cancellation several times, but the communication was unclear and I was repeatedly redirected to different departments. Despite not using the gym for many months, multiple charges were taken from my account on the same day, which was very stressful. I hope the management improves transparency and customer support, especially regarding cancellations and billing. For anyone considering a long-term membership, I recommend reviewing all terms carefully before signing.

Negative experience: The gym itself is good, but the way payments are handled at the reception is extremely unprofessional. Instead of giving me an official receipt for the 3-month upfront payment, they delayed the confirmation for two weeks. When I insisted, they sent a message from a personal WhatsApp number not an official receipt. Then I asked again this time shared an email but receipt. To make it worse, the only proof of my payment they shared was a photo taken on their laptop, as if that could replace a proper receipt. This is pathetic and completely unacceptable. For such a big gym, this level of handling feels like a joke. Storing credit card details despite full upfront payment is a clear violation of UAE regulations. The absence of a proper receipt is concerning and reflects very poor professionalism.

Negative experience: Worst gym experience ever. Even after cancelling the membership, they continue charging you without any proper explanation. They only seem interested in taking your money. Whenever you call to resolve the issue, they keep transferring you from reception to the accounts department with no real help. The whole process feels deceiving and unprofessional.

And if I get a call it’s only for money collection. 0 support from support team. and everyday they try to deduct money. Even after informing them that I can’t come. Also today I received a penalty of 200 for not payment

Positive experience: Not on the same level as the other Gymnation locations, comparatively not as clean & is a bit hard to find the parking through maps, and the parking check-out system isn't as seamless (compared to the other locations I've been to)

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at GymNation But Dubai. The staff were extremely rude, not polite, and far from friendly. Their attitude made the entire visit uncomfortable. I expected a welcoming and professional environment, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. Definitely the worst experience I’ve had at a gym.

Negative experience: Tip for anyone who is planning to join - you can freeze your membership for up to 3 months at AED 50 per month, but it’s based only on your billing date. They won’t adjust it for vacations or emergencies, and you can’t use the gym while your account is frozen.

Negative experience: Once a Great Gym, Now a Disappointment I have been a member of GymNation Bur Dubai since its inception and have seen both its rise and its recent decline. Unfortunately, what once stood for professionalism and community has now turned into a place where staff attitude and management arrogance overshadow everything else. Despite being a long-term and loyal member, the current team shows zero respect towards members. The facilities and equipment are deteriorating, and instead of maintaining or upgrading them, the management seems more concerned about painting walls for appearances. To make matters worse, I was promised complimentary months during my renewal—confirmed by their staff—but later these were denied and questioned as if I had fabricated them. My repeated follow-ups were met with dismissive and unprofessional responses. Particularly disappointed with Cecil (Manager) and Ibrahim (Sales Consultant), whose approach reflects a complete lack of hospitality, accountability, and professionalism. While they eventually added a month, it still did not match the terms originally agreed upon. A gym that once had great energy now feels mismanaged and indifferent to its members.

Negative experience: It’s no doubt spacious and an ideal gym you can go to. Only thing is all those members cant even freaking put there weight back, they say they have a rule for this but it was never implemented, even the trainers have the habit if just leaving the weights on the and not cleaning up, it a shame, you should at least give a suspension or warning for everyone, its easy if they dont want to go back put the weights back, then dont use it in the first place

Negative experience: The worst gym I have ever joined in my life, from the poor treatment from the club management and employees, they are only thirsty for money and there is no customer service. I froze my membership because my doctor forbade me from exercising a month ago, until I was surprised the day before yesterday that I was being blackmailed by the Gymnasium management, as I received an email asking me to pay the monthly installment within 48 hours or they will sue me. This shocked me a lot, as I contacted the club and also some of the employees in the reception service, but my messages were ignored by the employees or the management. This is not the first time they have done this, as my brother was also mistreated by personal trainers. It is sad that a place like this was part of my daily life to change for the better and then it became for the worse.

I tried to cancel my membership following their process, but they kept charging me even though cancelation was approved. The customer service is unhelpful and dismissive, and it feels like they intentionally make it. Be careful: even if you stop going to the gym, i really regret signing up with the gymnation. please think before signing in there is no exceptional and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere better

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind – avoid GymNation. Their cancellation policy feels designed to trap you rather than support you.
