Snap Fitness 24/7 Oamaru

Fantastic experience: Was in town for only 5 days and SnapFitness has awesome one week, two week and one month membership options for a reasonable price! $40 for a week with good facilities, including nice toilets and showers is a bargain in my opinion. The employee who I spoke with (Sophie) was also so kind and accomodating and super helpful with any of my questions. The gym also has a band system where you can wear red, orange or green to indicate how social you are feeling, which I like because it allows you to connect with others in the gym! Or alternatively keep to yourself if you prefer. The only real downside was that there were multiple machines out of order (including the only ski erg). But after talking with Sophie this was due to the lack of supply of the specialised repair people in the South Island (two Technogym repairer’s in the whole South). Overall, will definitely be using other Snap’s again if I am ever in a town for a short period.

Fantastic experience: During vacation I came for a day pass (casual workout) on January 5th from 4:30pm to about 6:00pm and I was helped with very friendly staff that got me working out quickly. Everything felt freshly remodeled, clean, and with modern equipments. Other members were quite tidy, cleaning up after themselves following their use of equipment. Fairly good gym etiquette from the other members. Not as busy as I would have expected the new year after standard business hours. Shower rooms were very clean, no smell of mold or mildew which is unfortunately more common than I’d like in gyms. As someone who needs a lot of hip strength due to an injury, I would have loved an adductor/abductor machine to round off leg days, but nothing else felt missing. Feedback for Snap Fitness NZ in general: I tried a few locations on the North Island and South Island and getting in for a day was only successful at this location. It seems like the staffed hours aren’t consistently posted or followed, and makes for some serious disappointment when trying to get a good workout in during travel. I’d happily pay more than this price for a better solution.

Fantastic experience: Lovely friendly staff (women on shift) showed me about the gym and explained everything extremely well Needed a rowing machine but it was in a room that a class was on so she apologies that I would have to wait but it was okay as although it was busy in the gym there was ample weight and cardio machines and a large free weight sections that I didn’t need to wait to do any of my weights either $20 for a day pass (cheaper if your a student) and shower and toilet facility’s are clean and modern and supply body wash in the showers

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym! The staff and gear are always stepping things up — saw those wristbands in the pics today, pretty cool. You can just smash your workout, or have a chat and hang out if you feel like it.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to this gym for about 2 months now and can say that I have enjoyed every training session there. Gym is clean, as well as showers and toilets, staff are friendly and kind and equipment is new and never fails. Absolutely recommend and if I ever come back to Oamaru, will continue going to this gym!

Positive experience: Visited this gym when I was in Oamaru for a few days. A reasonable price for a casual visit compared to some other gyms. Exceptionally clean, good selection of cardio and weights equipment, and a friendly reception. I would definitely use this gym again when in Oamaru.

The friendly and welcoming staff create a great atmosphere, along with a top facility, equipment and showers. Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Snap Fitness Oamaru for 16 months now, and I haven't lost a kg! But that doesn't matter because what I've learnt and developed in that time is worth so much more. My fitness is through the roof, which my kids now benefit from, I'm feeling better, and the family, friendly feel from Snap is awesome. I've made friends that encourage me on my journey, and people now use me as inspiration which is rediculous! I hace mates now keen to join because they've seen my journey! It's a lifestyle, and a family, not just a gym, or a fad!
