Fantastic experience: I love the combat centre.my 14 year old trains there. At first glance it can be abit intimidating but 5 mins in the door you realise just how welcoming and friendly everyone is, and I mean everyone. Its got a great family vibe. The faciltys are clean and modern the place looks great My son's confidence has grown so much since gojng there. Everyone is so patient with the newbies. I cannot say a bad thing at all about the combat centre. If you want to train your self or have a great place for ypur kids to learn something. This is the place!

Negative experience: Quite appalled to be totally honest. Went to watch and pick up my neice, and heard The trainer maybe the owner literally screaming swearing at some young girls. It actually gave me one hell of a fright and I cant imagine how the young girls felt being screamed and sworn at. Disguisting behaviour ! What kind of place is this where kids are treated this way!!

Positive experience: My Son attends boxing for fitness twice a week. He gets a good sweat on, and we are hoping that he progresses well so that when he turns 12, he's ready for more boxing and sparring skills. The staff are nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: My son (10year)did a trial session for bjj ji jitsu last week.We were all very nervous as this was so out of his comfort zone.BUT what an amazing group of people.From meeting the very first super friendly smile to the instructors.Adam and Jordan are so lovely with the kids.You can tell the kids have allot of respect for them !A very welcoming atmosphere .Great set up.Thank you guys!

All of the trainers are highly experienced and amazing (and also very welcoming and friendly), they keep the kids in-check and focussed while also ensuring they have fun and most importantly, learn. Fantastic experience: I really miss coming to The Combat Centre. This was my first boxing gym and I was so supported here and really enjoyed it! I've since moved to Sydney and at my first boxing gym I was verbally abused. Such a stark contrast and makes me really appreciate what I had at The Combat Centre. Thank you Matt, Macca, and Vin for everything!

Fantastic experience: As my first gym I've attended, TCC has helped me grow as a person and introduced me to martial arts. Everyone there is inviting and welcoming and go out of their way to make every individual feel appreciated.

Negative experience: Had two occasions where I felt the staff are not friendly when it comes to end of membership/changing membership types/renewing the period for concession card. Their response differs 180 degrees at the time youre trying to join and when you need a break/pause/change membership for any genuine reasons. Despite the reasons I provide they dont even bother replying. I have been to the receptions to discuss this, they said its okay and will likely to make changes for me however nothing done despite my communication in advance. On hindsight, I liked the BJJ coaches and coach Vin Mahoni as well. Enjoyed training under them. It is unfortunate this gym doesnt work for me with unsteady work hours, and am quite disappointed with their response.

Fantastic experience: Great gym for all the ages. My 4yo is doing BJJ under Renato Silva. We are lucky to have a BJJ black belt sansei in Westgate in a easily accessible location. Kids love the classes and they are nicely structured. all the coaches are friendly and easy going. Would recommend this to any parent looking to start their kids with BJJ or kickboxing

Fantastic experience: This is an AWESOME place for a child's training. They are kind and welcoming and inclusive of all children and parents. You can clearly see they truly care about the kids. Clean facilities, and good clear instruction and teaching by all instructors. My grandson has more confidence and self esteem and self discipline over the last few months. The Combat Centre helps grow kids

Fantastic experience: Started here about three weeks ago, fun environment and everyone is real welcoming and patient. If you’re nervous about starting don’t be like me and take 5 years to actually get in to it, the trial and intro classes are really good.

Positive experience: Great staff and training programs but I don't go in because I can't stand the smell. Bad body odor, from others so hope they can teach there members that you can be sweaty and train but you don't need to stink. It would be nice to have disinfectant sprays etc available so the matts can be wiped down after use because I know members can choose to wear bear feet or shoes. So keeping it clean would be great, and then it would be more inviting for those who have real sensitive noses.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym atmosphere, super friendly and supportive community of staff. They have free trial classes for all sports they offer, which is something unique for that gym and was very helpful to me as I wasn’t sure what I would like the most. Really worth giving it a try, you’ll definitely find something for you!

It is such a friendly environment and genuinely a great place. I highly recommend this centre to anyone and everyone. Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with amazingly talented trainers. The moment you walk through their doors they make you feel like you’re a part of their family. They work with all levels and ages, kids as young as 4 years old can learn boxing and jujitsu. The classes for adults are really structured too, and they offer a variety of boxing, kick boxing and Muay Thai classes for all skill levels. Definitely recommend checking them out and having a go.
