Fantastic experience: Small gym, but has all the necessary equipment from treadmills, rowing machine, stationary bikes, squat rack, smith machine, bench press, cable machine an dumbbells to name a few. There's also an honesty box donation in order to use the gym. Perfect facility to use when you're away on holiday to keep up your maintenance work. A bonus is working out with the lovely locals

Negative experience: Small, poor shower facilities and no real floor space.

Positive experience: When it comes down to Waihi vs Waihi Beach, I found that though the beach gym doesn't have as many machines or equipment, the people there are more friendly and the owner is really easy to get along with. I'd prefer his gym over the more fully equipped Waihi gym. Hopefully one day we get a gym that doesn't cost $20 a week on or around Waihi!

Fantastic experience: Great compact gym with all you need. I absolutely love the fact that they welcome casual members via an honesty box: incredible and very convenient (too bad I did not have my sport gear) !
