Fantastic experience: Had my daughter's 11th birthday party here. Absolutely fantastic, all the children loved it, the big ones and the small ones (my husband included!). All the staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. Our party host was fab too! 100% recommend this place - so much better (and cheaper!) than Ninja Warrior too! Thanks Agility!

The staff are all lovely and our party host was brilliant playing games with the children and getting them all involved. We had the teen party which my daughter and her friends really enjoyed. The food was really nice - lots of pizza and the chips were so tasty, and lots of it. Overall a great party, thank you!

Fantastic experience: We had a party for my 7 year old and his friends. Will did a great job of helping the children around the course and played endless games of the tig with them. Ruby dealt well with the various food allergies in the group and kept checking in on us to make sure we had all we needed. Thoroughly recommend as a party venue.

Fantastic experience: Booking for a 7th birthday Ninja warrior party. We have been a few times before - over summer which is why my son wanted a party here. Great set up - we loved the party room it was perfect. All the children had so much fun on the course followed by lots of yummy pizza and hot dogs. A great option for a party. Would definitely recommend!

Positive experience: The coaches at Agility kept my daughters party entertained, they had great fun! The food and party room also fab, with a music system to allow a personal playlist which was a big hit. The party room could have been available a little sooner to allow for decoration (should you decide to put some put up) but overall a great time.

Fantastic experience: I haven't used the facilities, im to old lol. But I have watched others. The sheer size of the equipment makes it worth while. The seperate nursery facilities are amazing Food from the cafe was not disappointing. For the admittance fee the children get a sandwich, drink and chips.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant teen party - our host, Leon was great with the teens, approachable and knew what he was talking about! The place felt like challenging soft play for grown-ups, full of obstacles and slides that kept everyone laughing and competing. After all the action, we relaxed upstairs in a private lounge with mocktails, pizza, chips, and ice cream. The atmosphere was fun and friendly, and the kids loved it.

Negative experience: After 10mins the kids had done the full course. No staff around the obstacle course so kids were hogging the stuff and pushing in. The juice we got was made from tap water so we couldn't drink that.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and nice food. Free parking. Very hard to do and once you have done it for an hour, it gets slightly boring.

Fantastic experience: Had a brilliant party for our son’s 12th birthday at Agility. Our party host (Eben Morris) kept the guests entertained, engaged and safe. Generous food portions and all dietary requirements catered for. Fantastic time was had by all the kids. Agility provides a genuine parkour experience in a controlled, responsibly managed environment.

Fantastic experience: Me and my niece had a great time here, the staff are all lovey and chatty, the food is really good. The young lad with black hair who was at the front was lovely to chat too and the lad with long brown hair who did the class was good at helping the kids and teaching them what to do, overall a love experience and will definitely be coming again.

Fantastic experience: Our son had a fantastic party at Agility. It was the after school combo meal 2 hour session. On arrival our booked tables in the cafe were laid out with drink jugs already. Staff were extremely attentive. Food was served on time exactly when we wanted it, all orders were correct and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a soya free bun for one child and a takeaway box for another who had to leave early. Kids said the food was really tasty - evident by the empty plates! Kids had a lot of fun playing on the course. My son took along his own helium number balloon for by the party table, which he accidently let off the string. One member of staff managed to quickly retrieve it from the ceiling for him. Which we were very thankful for. Couldn’t fault it. Would definitely book this package again.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking my grandsons to Jasper's Ninja Party. What a fantastic venue, complete with a private party room, the staff worked tirelessly challenging the kids on the Ninja Warrior obstacle course, the food was piping hot and well managed, suffice to say it's a place I will highly recommend, we'll done to you all at Agility.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant! In quick summary - clean, attentive staff, good safety precautions, clean loos, and decent food. I was really impressed with Agility, York. I have pretty low tolerance for poor safety, sevice, or hygiene at any sorr of soft play or active play places (like trampolining, ninja warrior, etc) but Agility was spot on. We arrived for the family session, two adults and two kids. The person meeting us on the desk was friendly and informative. Throughout our time there we saw different members of staff and all were looking out for the kids' safety and enjoyment, helping them on the rope swing, etc. Especially good was that each party coming in (there were a few) got an in person briefing about the courses - how they worked, how to run them, safety - SOOO much better than the generic safety videos you get at most other venues. The obstacles were fun - for our kids (6 and 9 years) and for us! It definitely feels more of a kids' venue to me, justbgiven a lot of the smaller sized obstacles, but during the family time a few of the harder / higher obstacles are a good workout! Would still be fun as an adult group, though (and we might make better use of their bar). The food on offer was great. We had pulled pork fries, mushroom & halloumi burger, and a couple of hot dogs. All good, and not overly expensive. Would be nice if they had some more healthy options (e.g. veggie stick sides). Overall, a really fun visit and we will 100% be back again, maybe as a family again or maybe for a birthday party.

Negative experience: First visit today, it is in my opinion quite basic especially for nearly £14 entry! Food extremely overpriced, Bistro prices definitely not worth the money at all. It is definitely not wheelchair friendly in the agility area, seating area is up 2 flights of metal steps and oh my it's absolutely Freezing cold, even the rails on the stairs are cold. They have a bar upstairs but wouldn't open it for myself, I'm disabled and going up & down stairs leaves me unwell! A lovely staff member did offer to keep popping up to check if I wanted a drink. All that said, Kids loved it!

Fantastic experience: A fantastic venue for a kids party. Staff were wonderful - really friendly and helpful and our party host Jack was an absolute star. My daughter had a wonderful time as did her guests. We appreciated our own party room and the food is by far some of the best we've had at a children's party. Thank you Team Agility for giving my daughter a great birthday party!

Positive experience: It's a lot of fun, I have a 3 year old and she can go on the equipment during the week. I also have a 9 month but the small area is over priced..it's £6.95 vs £8.95 for the bigger area, however it's very small. The food is good though. I am sure if the baby area was say £3, more people would go and spend in the cafe. I went for food then went to Wacky Warehouse to play, £5.50 for both children rather than £13.90 and Wacky Warehouse is much bigger than the agility toddler area.

Fantastic experience: Our 7 year old son had a wonderful party at Agility. The space was great, the staff were super helpful and the dedicated party organiser kept all the kids entertained throughout. I thought it worked particularly well how the party session was organised - all the kids took part together, whereas sometimes at soft play parties I think they get a bit separated as there are so many kids in the area. It was enjoyable for the parents too as it was all quite relaxed and a nice cafe area / space whilst the kids were playing.

Positive experience: Probably suited for 6 to 12 years but is fun for adults

Fantastic experience: We booked for Sunday 18th August. I just want to say how super friendly and helpful the staff were. Brilliant activity for all ages. I had a full English and the boys had pasta and a burger. The food was excellent to.

Fantastic experience: This was superb with obstacles suitable for all range of abilities. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to give our children a good time. Long trousers/sleeves are a good idea, as there's a long slide which can cause friction burns.

Fantastic experience: Great for birthday parties. I enjoyed attending a party here. I never heard of this place until last week...

Negative experience: Filthy. There was more staff then customers so no excuse there were drinks spilled everywhere, rubbish all over including black bags full of it left round the seating area, not one area of the playarea was cleaned or wiped while it was quiet, manager sat there aware of it all on her laptop ignoring that there was customers sat in it all. They changed our time slot because it suited them more knowing we had young children waiting on their birthday to play. The food was like drinking from a chip pan. The drinks machine broken with no sign up to say so. The staff (kids) behind the counter couldnt have been less enthusiastic if they tried as well as having no manners whatsoever not even the basic hi and thankyou. The blonde girl walked off half way through doing drinks and asked a colleague to finish (literally seconds of the job left) so she could just sit down and give creepy stares to the customers (there was no issues with anything so was so strange for her to do this). The laziness is disgusting it ruined the birthday treat, cant emphasise how bad the mess was that didnt clean up for the hour we were there. And dont expect them to actually supervise the kids playing cos they just chat amongst themselves and ignore the kids. Ignorant and id dread to see the state of the kitchen if this is what the rest of it is kept like.

Positive experience: Very fun play equipment, with a great slide! The children do need to really pay attention to the safety warnings, though, as it is possible to get hurt. Otherwise a well-run, clean, and great place for kids.

Fantastic experience: Went here a couple of weeks ago to a Mumbler toddler brunch and it was great. So much space for the kids to run around. We got to explore the whole place and was so much for them to do. Food was nice too and the cafe clean and tidy. Staff were all friendly and polite. I'll definitely be returning

Positive experience: It’s good but it’s quite small and a 90 minute session is too long the often don’t have chalk and that made the rings near impossible and the foam pit beneath the rings was really shallow but they couldn’t make it any deeper it’s a shame because I fell off the second to last ring straight onto my back after falling 6 feet onto basically no foam at all it’s probably better for 9-12 year olds because to me and the students it felt like a soft play for older kids I would recommend it for younger kids but anyone older it is kind of a let down the other obstacles were quite good but there was little direction as to what you are meant to do and the monkey bars on the warrior course was very very hard to do the grip challenge was fun but the second to last level seemed pretty much impossible no one could get close to finishing it

Fantastic experience: The party hosts Jack and Jada went above and beyond for my daughter's birthday party. They really took the time to coach and encourage them on the course and make sure they all had a great time.

Fantastic experience: Fab place! I brought my 3 year old to the toddler session which gives you access to the small soft play and the full ninja course. My daughter absolutely loved both courses, and I had a great time testing my strength too lol! We didn't realise there would be such a nice café on site, so next time we'll be trying that out too! The staff are super lovely, and also helped explain how to do a few of the obstacles which was great! Would definitely return!

Positive experience: This is a brilliant place for kids I took a 7yr, 11yr, 12yr and a 14yr. Saying that I enjoyed it too. We went on a Sunday morning and it wasn’t that busy. The course is good but some things let the place down. No toilet paper in any of the ladies toilets I did report it to a staff member who said the delivery hadn’t come. I’m sorry but that’s no excuse there’s plenty of shops, go buy some. It doesn’t matter that they don’t go in the dispensers but it does need providing. The food looked good so went to order 7 meals the girl on the counter was looking at her reflection in the tea bag bin on the worktop squeezing spots on her face! I mean really there’s a time and a place!! . I said I was going to order to some food but i definitely aren’t now after seeing that. She just went red and walked away. Absolutely disgusting. But other than that great place to burn off some energy or calories.

Fantastic experience: I attended today as a parent of a party guest and what a fantastic venue. Will definitely return. Nipped downstairs to order food and a drink and was served quickly by a very polite young man called Louis. Food was lovely and service fantastic. Would definitely recommend x

Fantastic experience: First class service here. Was running late for our booking, called them and explained and they said we could just have the hour from when we arrive no trouble. Got there and I'd forgotten the grip socks, so they sorted the kids out some socks without charge. All fronted by really friendly young people. The place has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the kids love it and the coffee is decent too. Beats that awful trampolining place hands down!

Positive experience: was very disappointed that come 6pm after the two hour class my children attended they were no longer serving as the tills were turned off!! How very bizarre as... A - kids are ready for drinks/snacks after two hours of burning lots of energy B - parents are also ready for drink / snack. C - the website states open til 8pm! D- there were still plenty of people in the cafe ( parents waiting, on laptops etc) who would probably spend money too. Such a great venue upstairs for families, friends, with or without children to enjoy themselves with food and drinks . But the atmosphere feels like they don't want you to stay, as also the temperature inside is very cool. Us adults never removed our coats . Plus side the children love the obstacle course and staff were very friendly with them.

Negative experience: Staff here are uninterested, unhelpful & it seems like asking for something is the biggest request of the decade. Lots of eye rolls & huffing. Won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: I took my son here for his birthday with three friends. What a great place to go!! The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The actual place is really good for kids of any age and the food was really good too. I've based my review on the fact my son and his friends had a great time and really liked the food. I would highly recommended and I will be returning in the future

Fantastic experience: We visited Agility this evening as my 7 year old daughter was invited to a party, it was our first visit! My little one is very nervous with new people, struggles to trust, and isn't the best when it comes to climbing and agility. She has constant fear and doesn't usually get much enjoyment out of these activities. However... our party coach (Kaymia) was incredible. He took her under his wing, helped her on all the equipment and immediately put her at ease. She trusted him straight away, which is unheard of! She has sensory issues with food and loud noises, but he helped her with those things to! Clearly recognising she wasn't super comfortable in the environment, he totally stepped up. I was so impressed, and it allowed me to actually enjoy a hot drink and a conversation with the other adults, which again is unheard of! She came home over the moon and immediately asked if she could book her birthday party there to!! The actions of one kind, understanding member of staff completely transformed what is usually a stressful situation into a brilliant experience for the both of us. (Side note... All the other staff were super helpful and friendly to!) What a great place to go ♡

Fantastic experience: Came with 2 little children today and 4 adults. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. Jasmine was a fantastic host and the team was so friendly. Nothing was too much and the food and drinks were fantastic for the price!! Can’t wait to come back!

Negative experience: *Our first visit with 2yr olds. The small play area was far to small. * There was no warning sign on sensory play this is a common trigger to epileptic people. *There was no small toilets for toddlers and no wash basin at toddler height. * The toilets were so far away for little toddlers who are transferring from Nappies to pants. * The facilities were not thought out with toddlers in mind. *Expensive for what it was.

Fantastic experience: My 6-year-old attended Agility's sports camps for several weeks this summer for childcare. He's not particularly sporty so has struggled with traditional sports camps, but he loved the mix of free play on the course and indoor/outdoor games, and the coaches were all great with him. The camp is comparable in price to others in York, but the fact that a choice of hot lunch is included in the cost makes it excellent value. Only improvement would be if they took childcare vouchers for payment!

Negative experience: Park itself is great but new policy about socks is ridiculous. Doesn't matter if you have proper socks from other places you have to buy their socks. Lady at till were very kind but that not explain greediness of owners. Its not about £3 pounds for it, its about bliking...

Negative experience: This is for the summer camp. Most of it was a waste of time and money. Every 10 minutes you go in for a break and stay there for 20 minutes when they put on YouTube and expect us to be happy. They come round with a bowl of bread. Then half of the kids need the toilet so they need to be accompanied down. We went to the school beside Agility to do activities and we spent 10 minutes crossing the road. Normally Agility is very good if you book sessions but the camp was absolutely rubbish and the food was awful. When some kids finished their food others haven’t even got theirs. When we finished the food we had to wait ages for the little kids to finish theirs. Yes this is a kid writing but I have had my parent’s approval for posting it because it’s that bad.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a fantastic time, both her and her mum were exhausted afterwards. I really enjoyed watching the joy on my daughter's face every time she came to the observers gallery to grab a drink. Afterwards we had lunch here also and the food was excellent. The staff who dealt with us were very pleasant and really helpful. We had a great time from start to finish. Can't recommend Agility York highly enough. If you're looking for a fun time with the kids then look no further

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to visit with children. Our little one lived the mini agility course. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The full course looks great and we will come back out of school holidays for a toddler session.

Fantastic experience: Their holiday camps are the bomb! My 7yr old adores going every holiday and they have really stepped up in engaging with parents to make them more accessible timewise! Lovely staff and great facilities!

Positive experience: This is a very good place for children to get active in a fun, safe and challenging atmosphere. The staff are very good and with well to keep the children engaged. There are nice social spots, including a mezzanine top floor that overlooks the course. Lots of food and drink options and WiFi. They provide holiday sessions and (more crucially in the recent climate) sessions on school strike days which are very reasonably priced child care options. The only downside is that it can be a bit loud particularly if there is a party on as there is no sound barrier between social spaces and the course.

Fantastic experience: The children really enjoyed their session. The parking is OK, bit tight and the pricing and monitoring of the carpark seems unstraightforward. The breakfast I had (vegetarian one) sat like a zeppelin on me most of the day, and the young staff member who took the order seemed to have her mind elsewhere. The avocado toast could easily have had an additional slice of sourdough given the weight of mushrooms piled on top. Food aside, the children enjoyed it!

Fantastic experience: Attended a party with my 7 year old daughter of one of her classmates & what a fantastic party it was! Was very impressed with the organisation by the staff getting several parties of children around the course. They were very professional, fun & took excellent care of all children in their care ensuring none were left out. With been a family with 4 children ranging from 17-7 we would definitely add agility to our list of places to have a family day out that would something for them all to enjoy. Clean & hygienic. Plenty of seating area to watch your child from above. Good cafe with plenty of food choices & a little area for very young children to play.
