Negative experience: I was encouraged to start a membership to make things cheaper but it turned out to be more expensive.

Our £34.99 monthly plan includes access to all 41 classes, which usually works out cheaper than paying £10 per class. We completely understand you changed your mind, and as confirmed in our email, we processed your cancellation with the 30-day notice. Negative experience: Born out of Xcelerate Gym which had a court order to close in 2024 then registered as Love gym limited also dissolved in 2024 Unfortuantly there is now absolutely zero vetting of who the owners let join and its now very noticeable...shame, as it used to be a fairly ok gym. Also please be very cautious with memberships they failed to confirm cancellation via email at all and are more than happy to keep hold of your money. Falling back on their no refund policy after 14 days. Both steppers are rickety and worn, dumbbells and cardio machines are removed from the gym floor for their classes so forget training on those days. Abductor and press are wobbly and not great condition. My opinion stick to a commercial gym where terms are clear, cancelling is straightforward and you get what you pay for. Posted on other platforms if you need to contact for more detail.
Fantastic experience: I love the Bootcamp and HIIT classes. Being a beginner I find the staff amazing at giving me the support I need to build me confidence. I strongly recommend this Gym.

Fantastic experience: Unite is a now a big part of my life. Great, friendly staff and a superb range of equipment. Some gyms feel cluttered and cramp but this is clean and spacious. I'm really progressing as a result of the daily routine!

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was different. The equipment is top-notch and always clean. There’s never a long wait for machines, and they have everything from free weights and resistance machines to functional training gear and cardio equipment. Fantastic experience: I've been a member at this gym since it first opened, and it really has transformed under the Unite name (so ignore any Xcelerate reviews!). Mehran and his team are all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The gym isn't huge, but there's a wide range of well-maintained equipment - a good mix of cardio and strength. I haven't been able to join many of the classes, but there are plenty on offer, and they always look well-run and well-attended. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a gym in EG.

Fantastic experience: This Gym is not just well stocked with quality equipment but has staff on hand all the time to help. I have never seen a gym with such a wide range of classes each week. 41 of them! I can not give it enough plaudits and prise. I would urge all to visit and I am sure you will be equally I pressed. They offer day pass and weekly as well as there normal monthly passes. See you all in there.

Fantastic experience: I started going to the gym last year having never been a regular gym attendee before. I have throughly enjoyed it and attend about 3 times per week. The equipment is well maintained and clean good and the staff are very helpful. I've e recently had a free health and fitness review which was very professional and I've been provided with a comprehensive fitness program including meal and fitness plans. These are tailored to my own goals. There are also a lot of classes that are well attended but I haven't been yet. Overall a very friendly gym.

Fantastic experience: Honestly have never enjoyed the gym as much as I have since starting at Unite! I tend to do the classes at least 3/4 times a week and I LOVE them! All the staff are amazing. Manager is a superstar always checking on me and asking how I am! The class instructors are super lovely too always making sure your not over doing it! I would recommend unite to anyone and everyone who asks! Love it so much ❤️

Fantastic experience: Fantastic community feel gym. The staff are extraordinary and make everyone feel welcome. They offer an incredible number and variety of classes catering for everyone. There's always a staff member around to help with any queries. A key thing for us was finding a gym where discipline is up most and enforced. Unite run a truly flawless gym. Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with a great atmosphere! The equipment is great and well maintained and there is good variety for all kinds of workouts. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always happy to help! Jed was very welcoming to me and really motivated me. The classes are intense at time but still very good! Fantastic experience: The best gym in East Grinstead. Good enough equipment for even an underground sport like powerlifting. They have great quality bars and bench. Also the staff at the counter and personal trainers are super friendly and always willing to help with spotting or any advice. I absolutely recommend to train here, if you're looking for a friendly, supportive and professional gym. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Me and a couple of my work colleagues joined up before the gym was even open, when it was still a building site, so there was always that fear that it wouldnt live up to the expectations. But it really has, and a lot more. The equipment is state of the art, and they keep adding more stuff. Just when you think you dont need anything else, they bring in a new piece of equipment and you realise that you did want more. The staff are genuine, helpful and really friendly - Poppy & El always have a smile, banter & advise to offer which helps to add immeasurably to the environment. I absolutely give this gym 5 stars

Negative experience: EDITED - Editing my original post. Since posting this review and seeing your response below where you say you have processed the refund, I have also received an email telling me you need to check with the relevant person about whether I am entitled to a refund and whether I am able to cancel with immediate effect and that you will update me when you know. Which is it please? I have received no update, and no refund in my account, so I can only assume the below comment was more lies? Sad to be leaving a one star review and this is the first time I have ever felt the need to! I signed up as a member on Tuesday 2nd May. This was following a chat with Gemma where I was told that the membership included, amongst many things, a 1:1 consultation and a personalised programme from a PT. It was also mentioned as a passing comment that I couldn't attend the gym that week early morning, as they were installing sound proof on it, but things would be back to normal by the Monday. I only joined the gym to use first thing, as can not do evenings, but didn't mind waiting a few days. I had a consulation for my programme with Bill on Thursday 4th May. This was the first time I had heard anything about a "review" in regards to your opening hours, which Bill explained in more depth. There was not any certainty as to whether they would be able to open early again, at all, let alone on the Monday as I was originally told! I was told they would update us on the 12th. There were no updates on 12th, and apparently even though everyone had received an email about it, no one in the group on the app had received any communication. I had also heard nothing back about my personal programme which was supposedly being put together by the PT so chased it on 10th and was told on the 11th I was next in line. However, even now on 21st May , almost 3 weeks after joining, I have been given no programme. I was told that he was extremely busy and had had over 100 programmes at the time to do; surely if you can not provide a service to those who are already paid and signed up, you shouldn't be taking on any more?! I asked for more clarification about the opening hours and was still given no clear info. Appreciate this is all unclear to you but what I am very upset about is your dishonesty and lack of accountability. You advertised a service you can not provide and then when I just asked to cancel I was told I need to pay my June membership due to the 30 day cancellation policy . I am unable to pay for a service I was unable to use, due to your dishonesty, and I would like a refund on the joining fee that I had paid upfront. Had I known the situation upfront I would not have joined.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym. All rounder this one. Stand alone gym with helpful and friendly staff. Classic equipment in good condition. Range of cardio equipment and a callisthenics area. Plenty of Classes all through the week and they are all free of charge. Whenever looking for a gym I look for one just like this one.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Unite since the start. Always super clean, equipment is vast including cardio, weights, cables, sledge! Classes are throughout the week and lots of variety. Convenient location right in the heart of east Grinstead. The staff are always in hand to answer questions if you have any problems. Changing rooms also clean with shower, lockers and hairdryer. Fantastic experience: I have been using this gym for 4 months and it has been a great experience. The range of equipment and classes is excellent and Mehran and his team are always on hand to help and advise. Gyms can often be intimating places but not at Unite. All ages and abilities are welcome here and it is inspiring to see teenagers to pensioners enjoying the facilities. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Unite in November and found it to be a very welcoming gym. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and highly motivational, especially Jed and Mehran. They’re always happy to help if you have any questions about the equipment. There’s a great range of equipment available, and they offer numerous classes throughout the week. Fantastic experience: Our family have been at this gym from its beginning as Xcelerate . We’re glad we stuck with it . Under the new ownership as Unite Mehren and his team have turned it around . I have been a member of several gyms locally over the years but this is by far the best. Staff are very helpful and friendly. All the classes I’ve attended Yoga , Pilates , Zumba and Run club are great with knowledgable staff . The gym equipment is well maintained and the facilities are always clean, changing rooms and showers especially. Would highly recommend to any age group and / or fitness level
