Fantastic experience: Does what it says...gay venue. Free towels. Membership required £9 per yr. £20 for a locker, if you want a cabin, then add another £14. Various aromas, toys and basic toiletries sold. They have themed nights, Bear, dark nights, annon night (masks supplied). Underwear nights. Good mix of clients, ages shapes and sizes. Negative experience: Lo mejor de Pipeworks es, sin duda, el personal: en su mayoría fueron amables y atentos. Sin embargo, las instalaciones están muy deterioradas y hay un olor desagradable en todo el edificio. El lugar está bastante sucio y se nota muy desgastado. He dejado de ir porque no puedo justificar el precio de la entrada. He visitado varias saunas gay en otras partes de Europa por el mismo coste y estaban impecables en comparación.

Positive experience: Nice clean place, good facilities. Staff are hit or miss, they don’t appear to be hired on their skill set just be fit and aged under 30. Sometimes they keep the place tidy and sometimes they are chatting. Music in the daytime is regretful, a radioshow called G Shock radio it plays afrobeats and dancehall based in London with lots of conversation.

Fantastic experience: Visited on Friday July 5th was served by two young men one waswhite blonde hair and butterfly tattoo other one was young and black, The latter explained by optionclearly and I gained a 1 membership in the process- place was quiet at time of visit but the Staff working were very helpful and kept the place clean

Fantastic experience: Looking for the best sauna in the UK? Then Pipeworks is a must Staff are super friendly and helpful. I’ve been to saunas all over the UK and this is by far the best. Love the QR code to pay for the tab at the end, speeds up the process at the end when leaving. Super clean and lots of levels divided into different sections for xyz Gentleman who served me deserves a special mention, didn’t catch his name but he was super helpful. Visited on the 5/4/25 at around 5pm

Fantastic experience: First time going to the Sauna, the staff were friendly, there was a good atmosphere in the place, areas were clean. Little to no parking was the only down side, but an npc car park about a 3min walk, I'd advise using the ncp app for parking there it's cheaper.

Positive experience: Clean place with nice facilities. £28 pounds is just too expensive. I went last Friday and was a waste of money. If u can count more than 10 customers for most all night, it was too much. Maybe they need to put some offer or more advertising to bring more customers. All over 40s.

One let down pictured below…a loud & obnoxious drunk & off duty member of staff called Alex trying to intimidate customers who don’t satisfy his needs. Follow up: So you decided to post on Facebook to get customers who never witnessed inappropriate behaviour & make false claims about Alex being on holiday to cover this up? By asking them to report the review? Only WE know the truth & I suggest that you respect that. It clear to me & your customers you can’t handle true criticism.

Positive experience: Visited this venue in Glasgow on New Year’s Eve . For me it was the perfect chill out place. It got busier as the evening progressed and it’s like a boutique hotel with a lift to the reception. The price for the size and for New years was great . Pipe works has got multiple layers and friendly staff . I definitely go back again and I had fun real mix of guys and friendly . They also had a regular television room. Alongside the usual porn rooms so that was a welcome attraction.

Positive experience: Credit to them, they've fixed a lot of the problems and the staff are brilliant.

Negative experience: The boy at the reception probably don't like us..it was a mask day, and when we are drinking at the bar he ask to maintein the mask even if others customers don't have. The sauna close after midnight and he hurt my boy friend because he dont immagine that at 20 he close the jacuzzi and it was not still possibile to use it. Really an arrogant and bad bad person. He cry over my bf, that he need to defend himself. On every holidays we visit the gay sauna around the world, but bever find that. After you answer: to be really honest the boy was really not clean. It's normal to ask us to put the mask and the usual customer can take the mask out? And for you a panel with "wet floor" is meaning tou cannot enter the jacuzzi? Please..be honest .. We pay 28£,only one towel..a second towel to dry after the last shower cost 1£ more? And a boy at the reception that isn't correct with you? You think this is a good service?

The management go above and beyond to ensure that customers have a great experience. In my opinion, a lot of business should adopt this unique business model.

Negative experience: Just left the place they let me get in when no one was actually in there just took my money for nothing. I'm not from here and I didn't know the action is much earlier in the day. Super unfair to take someone's money like that.

Fantastic experience: As a bottom the douching facilties mean that I don't have to plan ahead, mix in the friendly staff and guys you meet at the bar this almost guarantees that I get that, after workout burn the next day.

Fantastic experience: Full disclosure! I have traveled the world, just back from Morocco, I ALWAYS go to sauna I have even gay saunaed in Ireland!! So I know you will her the tired old cry of: ‘a wis first in that place when it opened, oh no private rooms or alcohols pops back then! But I have been since it opened until 2014 ish I lost my job was made redundant and no longer helped at the ‘Steve retson’ drop in. Almost decade has passed and the nostalgia of crimbo had ma! And after checking I had a private room to go to (I spoke to Martin, lovely and really helpful) I arrived 5ish and left the following day. In the cafe was Alex and Jami, forgive the misspelling, and through their shift: they cleaned, severed, answered weird questions (someone asked about moctails! Can you imagine) in fact they never stopped. Funny, pleasant and hard working. Just saying,,,

Fantastic experience: I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I visited on one of the dark nights, and being nude is mandatory after 6pm. The place was quite busy and I had a few fun sessions during my time. What I will say is that the sauna could have done with being swept out. Aside from that, things were great.

Positive experience: Super great atmosphere, comfortable resting area with lovely restaurants and spacious sofas. The sauna also has several floors which is much nicer than lots of other gay sauna in the UK; and most importantly it can also take contactless card payment, which is supposed to be in 2023 in a well-developed country-the UK. The pool is also really big and comfortable as well.

Fantastic experience: I visited for the first time on Monday afternoon and got very overwhelmed and left. I decided to try again on Wednesday night shortly after 9pm. Upon arrival, I was met at reception by a man with glasses and hat (sorry I didn’t catch his name as I was freaking out). I explained my situation to him and he took time explaining everything to me. He explained the membership, the themed nights particularly the masked night as I’d mentioned I was nervous and also a rough layout of the building. He did offer to walk me round but there were a few people queuing up at the bar so I said it was okay. I would like to say a massive thank you to this staff member for making me feel so safe and welcome as I ended up having a really great night. The place itself is surprisingly very clean and the music was top notch. I will be back with my confidence boosted all thanks to your amazing staff.

Fantastic experience: This was the first time I’d ever visited a gay sauna and I had a really great experience. The staff were really welcoming and were really reassuring when I mentioned that I was a wee bit nervous. The place itself was exceptionally clean and I saw someone cleaning up pretty much the whole time. There’s a diverse range of guys in terms of ages and body types which I also really enjoyed. The only thing I would say is that the drinks are a bit pricey but I suppose that’s probably what you experience at all saunas. As a disabled person, I found the building accessible but I’m not a wheelchair user so cannot say how it would be for someone who is a wheelchair user. I’m really glad I took out a membership because I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to go for some relaxation. Facilities include a huge steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Perfect for chilling out. There's also a bar which serves snacks and drinks. I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful any time I've visited this establishment. Clientele is always mixed in ages and personality. Some are happy to be friendly and chatty. Others not quite so much. A great place to visit which I'd happily recommend to others.

Negative experience: The worst ever. Only ghosts at this place and they stop serving alcohol before midnight. Never again...

Fantastic experience: Visited the Pipeworks during a trip to Glasgow and I wanted to make my own opinion about the place after reading so many comments. It can be surprising at the first sight cause we open the door and fall on a lift. I must say it’s probably the cleanest sauna I have ever been. The place is massive so to have it all clean at all times it’s a really good point. The private cabins well I didn’t use them so can’t talk about it. The security cameras. That for me is not an issue. I mean better safe than sorry. You don’t even notice them. The staff, absolutely fantastic. I never been before they took time to explain everything at the front desk. Definitely will go back next time I have the occasion to visit Glasgow.

Fantastic experience: Visited The Pipeworks for the first time last weekend. I'd seen several good reviews of the place, so took the plunge and paid for membership plus admission for the day. A great deal of thought seems to have been given to the design - not just to the general layout of facilities, but also to the ambience of the place, particularly evident in the bar area with its carefully chosen furnishings and lighting. The overall impression I had is of a place where you can not only have a great deal of fun, but also rest and relax in very pleasant surroundings between adventures in other parts of the building. All facilities seemed to be available and working well. I arrived at The Pipeworks at lunchtime on a Saturday, and left about 7, having thoroughly enjoyed myself. It seems safe, well-maintained, and above all clean. Be aware that there is a charge of £1 for a replacement clean towel - given the soaring cost of heating a three-storey building to a temperature that allows for people in towels to wander about in comfort, I can't honestly begrudge it. Special thanks to Davey, who was at all times attentive and polite. I'm glad I took out that membership. I'll be back!

Positive experience: Visited from London. Guy at reception was friendly on arrival (was told it was naked Sundays with just a small towel only), mostly clean place, nicely stocked bar, lots of hot Scotsmen which is what I wanted! Was interesting exploring the two floors. Would return!

Positive experience: As an Englishman from across the border I have mixed feelings about this place. Very clean, great facility and lots of very amicable Scots guys. However, I found the person on duty to be borderline offensive. First I was never asked on entry if it was my first time, and consequently in other saunas I have visited, I have always been given a tour; here, simply handed my key and had to find where the lockers are. Then got reprimanded not once but twice for ringing the bar bell to buy a drink! Guy moaned how he couldn’t be in two places at once. Finally, when ordering I politely requested a fresh towel - which I was told cost £1 which on top of the £25 entry I do think is slightly over-the -top but, as I didn’t want to put my old towel on the bar, I simply asked if I should give to him. I received the very blunt reply: “I don’t collect towels you know, there are baskets in the entrance.” Had, of course, I been offered a tour I would have known this ! Comparing this to 4 other saunas visited in the last 24 months, I wouldn’t rush to come back. To the owner: your staff let you down here by their attitude towards visitors. Otherwise lovely facilities, thank you
