Experiencia negativa: I really want to give this gym a better rating, but after being a member for years I simply can't. You're probably thinking, why would I be a member for so long at a gym that I clearly don't consider to be the best quality? And the only answer to that question, is because they're 24 hours and they have three locations in Anderson, Greenville, and Spartanburg. I live in Anderson, I work in Spartanburg, and I do a lot of business and Leisure things in Greenville. I also rotate shifts so my schedule is literally all over the place. Those two are the only reasons. The biggest issue I have is how poorly their staff keeps up with the maintenance of the facility, particularly the bathrooms and locker room areas which should be a priority. One or more of the stall or urinal units seems like it's always broken or out of service, and it's not uncommon for the paper towel or even the toilet paper dispensers to be empty. And at the Anderson location their wireless network has been down for months. And since the facility is basically a warehouse with weights in it, you don't get a cell phone signal either. So when you're tracking your workouts and you're trying to upload it to whatever app you use to manage the data, good luck not losing all that important information when you don't have a network connection. That's pretty sad.

Experiencia negativa: Cancelled membership 3 months ago and still getting charged moved to Georgia and haven’t been in months but yet they still charge me after telling them months ago to cancel service my and I’m not the only person I know they have done this to this place is asking to get sued

Experiencia positiva: Is an awesome gym!!! But just 2 restrooms for about 30 people is unbelievable the amount of time that takes to have a free restroom. If this place thinks about investing money, more restrooms would be a great deal!

Experiencia negativa: Horrible customer service and building conditions. There’s mold everywhere. There’s a leak where they placed a large trash can to catch the water. The HVAC ducts sweat and might leak on you as well. The conditions of the building should be inspected by the city because I’m certain it’s not safe.

Experiencia negativa: Nice gym, but of course canceling a contract is unnecessarily difficult and a very poor experience that makes me regret ever signing up. My experience and the actual instructions to cancel your membership are below. (Update: They will try to charge you a $59.00 "buyout fee" when you try to cancel.) Buyer beware. I sent an email to cancel two months ago as per the instructions on their website. I never got a response. When I notice that I am still being billed for a gym membership that is not being used, I call the gym directly. A very nice person says they will email me the instructions to cancel my membership. I wait 30 minutes and don't get the email. So, I ask a friend for the cancellation email they received. Below are the instructions to cancel in the email you have to request by calling the front desk. Note the "if we don't get your email you have to follow up to actually cancel your membership" which of course is just an excuse to bill customers for another month or two. 10 Star Fitness Cancellation 1. Please email a brief explanation of your request to cancel, freeze, or buyout to icmemberservices@abcfitness.com. a. Please include your membership number: ######### b. After you send your email, you will receive an auto response from ABC Billing stating they have received your email and are processing your request. This is only a verification that they received your request, not proof of cancellation. c. Within 3 – 5 business days after the auto response to you, you will receive an email from an ABC Billing representative who will give you any other instructions needed on required steps of cancellation. Please be on the lookout for this message. 2. Follow these instructions to ensure proper cancellation of your account. 3. Save all correspondence and the final receipt of cancellation for your records in case needed in the future. *Please remember to check your junk mail if you do not see an auto response email* *If you did not receive an auto response, this means ABC did not receive your request. Please check the email address and resend your request* *It is your responsibility to follow these steps and cancel the membership*

Experiencia negativa: Bought my membership online give me a way to get inside so now I can’t work out due to having to work out at night due to my job and I assume you’re supposed to come in in person to get a QR code so I can go in the door but it is now 11 AM and there’s not a single person here to help me y’all need to make it where you can scan online too. This is not fair or right I’m paying $60 for a membership that I can’t use and I’m having to ask other people to let me in which is embarrassing

Just now recently they changed every machine to wacky nautilus machines trying to be crunch fitness. They even replaced the hammer strength leg extension which was everyone's favorite. Not to mention ever single metal plate is gone and replaced with rubber ones. Very sad the gym downgraded this badly.

Experiencia negativa: One Star for their Staff. They were sweet. 0 stars for facility. As someone that requires heat therapy after Physical Therapy, the sauna seemed ideal. However, there was no Light and the desk staff did not know when it would be replaced. Seems like something to have on hand in case of failure. Not to mention the safety and security issues. There is no security as the desk is not always manned. Fail.

Experiencia negativa: They make it incredibly difficult to cancel your membership. I tried to cancel it at the gym and they said I had to call a third-party servicer. I called the third-party servicer and they said I couldn’t cancel it over the phone after waiting for 30 minutes on hold and going through the process then I had to restart and do it online. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Experiencia negativa: My husband a member at the Anderson gym for about 20 months. Generally a good gym except for two big problems. The music over the speakers is very raunchy with sickening foul language, nothing like what the general public would consider listening to. There is also several guys that congregate around weight machines early afternoons using them as a seating area that people can’t use in their workouts. My husband plans to go to another gym a few blocks away in Anderson if the situation is not resolved soon.

Experiencia negativa: Employees lied about the membership, and are very rude when I called trying to get it cleared up. Was told a manager would call me and they never did. It’s been a very difficult process to cancel my membership and will still be charged for another month after it has been canceled. Not the best gym or organization to get involved with.

They don’t have the newest nicest equipment but they have everything u could ask for especially when it comes to free weights . Crunch and other gyms in anderson have newer things but missing a lot of the great equipment that 10 star offers !

Experiencia fantástica: --As Of June 1st 2023-- This Place is So Peaceful & Proper. Staff here is very polite & actively engages the community here. Honestly, it's one of the nicest gyms in the SC Upstate. It is a bit rough in terms of maintenance & upkeep, but that can be fixed, so hopefully, they will improve within the next months. Community here is a must, but I must refer to the Business Model Corporate pushing here. Unprofessional fees, Drafts, And Upcharges, So do keep that in mind. Also, staff can not do much about One-Star Policies, so please don't pressure them too much. .As Usual, Jesus Bless & God Speed.

Experiencia negativa: Please be aware of the contract you sign here. They have ridiculous fees and upcharge. They make cancelling extremely hard. I wish I could leave less then one star on the review. The people actually working in the gym are respectfully and extremely nice other than not mentioning the fees actually associated with the contract. ( my fault for assuming it was straight forward) I do not recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: For the yearly price, it's the best bang for the buck. The Staff is very friendly, and helpful. The kids care is employed by staff that are attentive to the children. The staff goes above and beyond to try to know each and every member. The gym can be crowded at times, however the members are typically pleasant to deal with and are typically open to have people work in.

Experiencia negativa: They charge around 3 times what other gyms charge. It's very unprofessional environment. There's music with cussing. They fired my coach when I had 9 sessions left and I'll never get that money back. There's also a lot of hidden fees. They claimed they were waived but we were later charged 260 dollars in one month.

Experiencia negativa: Gym absolutely blows and so does the staff at the desk. Got mad at me for being “loud” when deadlifting and then revoked my membership but kept taking money out of my account. They make you go through this awful hassle of calling another company before you can even cancel because you can’t just go to the gym and cancel it.

Experiencia negativa: They would not let me cancel my son’s membership after he left for basic training. They said I wasn’t “authorized to make changes to his account”, even though I sent in a copy of his enlistment contract as proof. They would not even put a freeze on the bank drafts until December when he comes home. They can very clearly see there hasn’t been any activity on his account since early September. Don’t ever join here. This place is awful to deal with.

Experiencia fantástica: Been coming as a guest for a while and finally decided it was time I got the membership. The cost for a member is fairly cheap too I got the preferred and it was only $22.99 a month, better than most if you’re wanting to go to a gym that has everything you need but not get yelled at for lifting heavy or making sounds when you exert yourself for those forced reps. Have lots of heavy weights for you to excel and grow in size. Staff is very friendly and funny, highly suggest anyone to check it out.
