Experiencia fantástica: Incredible environment, unreal hospitality, nothing but good vibes. I was in town for a couple of days and had to stop by to train—Professor Ruben and Brandy showed nothing but amazing hospitality. HIGHLY recommend this gym!

Mats are spring loaded underneath, really a great place to work takedown skills. Instructions are clear and open to questions. Bleacher seating for observers during classes in the big mat. You should take some time to check out Vagabond.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in Odessa training for work, out of Dallas. I contacted Vagabind about training while I was away from home. I was invited by Josh to come and train. When I arrived the employee at the front desk was friendly and professional and so nice. The professor at here in knowledgeable and professional and all the students were helpful. No egos here just guys and girls ready to train. The gym and mats were super clean as well as the bathrooms. Top tier gym.

Experiencia fantástica: In town for work and decided to drop by Vagabond. It’s amazing how jiu jitsu community never disappoints! This gym is definitely one of the nicest gyms I’ve ever been to. Tons of mat space, with giant and clean bathrooms. The head coach, Ruben, super easy to learn from and had great details during instruction. Got tons of rolls in with a bunch of people and everyone was pretty technical but all had different styles I loved it. If I’m ever back in town this will 100% be the spot I’m coming to.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the opportunity to train here while working in Odessa for the week. My co worker and I were able to catch the 6am class. We attended a no gi class on Tuesday and a gi class on Wednesday. There was a different coach for the gi & no gi class and both were extremely knowledgeable. Great gym if you’re looking to get into jits and live in the area or just visiting.

Experiencia fantástica: I totally disagree with American Mades review. My family has also been with Vagabond since tiny spaces. The parking spots went from 5 to 10x’s as many. It’s cramped because so many new people have joined, that’s why you see all the new faces. Their growth shows the quality that Vagabond provides from family friendly to exercise and physical well being. Personally I am happy for the Vagabond team and their growth. Also, if you don’t like the space then donate 1.5 million of your own money to expand it for them. I know I am not the only who shares the same excitement and appreciation for the new space and the new faces, MOST of all, the successes of Vagabond and the team at Vagabond.

The members and instructors seemed more welcoming than any other activity I've gone out and tried for the first time. Since, I have come back multiple times during my work trip.

Experiencia positiva: The classes are top notch. We have been connected with Vagabond since they were on 8th st in that small space. Oh how they have grown! I Wish they would have thought of the parents who pay for the school. I will say from the size they went from to now it still feels like the first place. When you get the parents and family and friends in to watch the important Belt Promotions it is cramped once again. You really are on top of each other. No one thought about anything but more mat space i guess when building the new place. Can't get into parking lot is the other dread we have to. WE WERE ALL EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW PLACE UNTIL WE HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME CRAMPED SPACE. You might want to install a microphone and speaker so we can hear you. Your building is Better for some but not all. No idea how they can grow even here already seems maxed on accommodation.

He taught us some very cool no-gi and gi techniques that I hadn’t ever seen before. The facility was in great condition with a lot of space.
