Experiencia positiva: Been with this gym for 5 years and it has been a good experience for the most part. When something is needs attention it takes a while to see it repaired. Latest issue is the WiFi is not working. Can't listen to my music without having to use cellular on my phone. Has been like this for weeks and again slow to correct. Not a deal killer but really would appreciate owner taking it more seriously

Experiencia negativa: Not very happy with this membership. Small gym, and you can’t use the sauna unless it’s staffed. Also the door reader is very touchy so most days when I have to scan in I’m waiting 10 minutes until someone finally feels sorry for me and opens the door. And yes, I do follow the instructions and place my phone exactly where the label says but the issue is that it’s a downward facing scanner, not through the glass facing outward like most gyms.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great gym to get the job done, never crowded. KATIE IS UNBELIEVABLE, she is the manager here and really makes sure you have everything you need and are taken care of, very hard to find people that like, very grateful for this gym and everyone here

Experiencia fantástica: Always open, even in holidays you can go in with your access code. I mostly go in mornings, so I don't know about the staff but they were friendly when I registered. You'll see similar faces each day, it is friendly place. The machines are available most of the times, but most of the machines have only one unit for each type. Overall, good place for workout.

Experiencia negativa: I used this gym on a regular basis for a couple years. I talked to the staff at the front desk on the phone and in person, informing them I was canceling my membership. I was never told to put it in writing. I'm not sure who it was that I spoke to as it was over a year ago and the staff changed constantly. I got an email that my credit profile changed so I logged in to see I have a collections for $110. I only used the gym the month I canceled. However I was billed for several months after even though my card was not active. This is not about the money, it's about the principal. Iam willing to pay for the last month i worked out there but they want several months after the fact! When I spoke to a manager last on the phone she ignored my concerns as if they didn't matter. I have recently joined a new gym and do not recommend using this facility.

Experiencia positiva: I know the company itself can’t do anything about my issue, but the only problem i’ve had so far is most of the gym goers are men who have staring problems. Tired of being looked at like a piece of meat when i am just trying to get a work out peacefully. and no I was not wearing anything extremely revealing not that it should matter anyways.

Experiencia negativa: Reported to collections affecting my credit score 50 points. I paid my dues but apparently there is a cancellation fee I was not told about and I didn’t find out until five months later when checking my credit report.

Experiencia negativa: Don't do it ! Place to expensive and to small for the equipment they have. "Maintenance fee" will hit you almost right after you sign up. PLUS monthly fees. And cancelation is a mess. Through a Third Party! More fees there you'll have to pay anther 30 days on top.

Experiencia negativa: There is a female at this location always causing me grief I wish I knew her name she was working today. She’s messy. Exercise should not be disturbed. I’ll never work out here again, and deter others if they ask about this gym, plus I’ve disputed all charges from this gym. I’m very disappointed.

Experiencia positiva: I like this gym. Other reviews are correct re amount of equipment to size of space ratio. There is almost too much cardio gear and not enough duplication in weights. For example, there is only one flat bench for bench pressing, one squat rack, etc. But LOTS of treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and stair climbers. My only other issue is that this place seems to be the second home for high school kids who are more interested in congregating than exercising, and who don't always understand that others are working out too. But hey, their money's green just like mine. Again, it's fine if you know enough to get creative when you can't get the machine you want.

Experiencia positiva: The Gym is clean and I enjoy the convenience of being able to workout in the evening after I get off work. However I forgot my badge one evening(my bad), and asked the employee to look up my name in the system to show that I was in good standing so I could get my workout in. The response was no badge your not coming in here. Poor customer service skills. I even understand if that is the policy but just poor attitude in the way the employee addressed me.

However, I’ve unfortunately already had two run ins with some staff that I personally feel have been pretty disrespectful towards me and my family and is why I am writing this review. Many of my family members have been members at this gym and they have honestly given free memberships towards my brother who is a first responder and my grandfather a veteran. The second staff run in was when I came in one day to work out and my other brother had wanted to come with me and I was under the impression that taking a friend was free at this location. As I walked in, a bearded gentleman stopped me and my brother and asked for membership tags and I showed him mine and then he asked for my brothers who didn’t have one obviously. He then proceeded to kick him out even when I told him I thought bringing a friend was free. He responded saying “only during staffing hours” when literally he is the staff and obviously was working there at that very moment. I decided to leave after being disrespected in front of everyone there. I know not everyone here is rude like that but again I can’t let this slide seeing it’s the second time.

Experiencia fantástica: sparkling facilities, great equipment, intentional and engaged staff. the manager and team clearly love what they do and they pour it into everything they do. i would definitely always rather be in a place where the staff is joyful and working hard than a dirty facility with poor attitudes. have been a member for years and recently there have been such incredible changes. staff is doing such a good job of consistently enforcing standards to keep things safe and in exceptional condition. this place has been such an important part of improving my life, have lost over 40 lbs the last couple of years and hope to always be a member here! thank you all!

Experiencia positiva: I've been a member at Workout Anytime Anna for about 6 months. Gym is relatively good. I tend to go later in the evening to avoid the crowds you get in the morning time and right after work. Equipment is clean and has most of the areas you need to get a good workout. Has a shower and even a hydromassage that is always available. The one major complaint I have is because I signed up for the premium service which comes with a "Monthly Body Composition Analysis" that I have used only once. Amazing plus! but I was never able to book an appointment and them actually keep it. I think today was my 4th time of a no-call no show or sorry something about the schedule. If you are lucky to actual use this service, the data they provide is next generation stuff, but again expect to show up multiple times and get an "I'm sorry" as if your time isn't worth any type of compensation. Outside of that nice place.

Experiencia positiva: It's convenient and a decent price, especially when they run specials. I got a great deal around new years. But it's lacking in space and a equipment is imho. Pros and cons, it still gets the job done but leaves a little to be desired for a higher rating.

Experiencia negativa: I went there and I was ready to start my membership. A young lady in the main office by the entrance has introduced her self to me as the manager. She would look at me the burst in weird laughs, she kept on doing that for over 20 minutes. When I ask her what is funny she says she remembered something funny. I was sure she was laughing at me but couldn’t understand why?! I asked for a tour and she was laughing the whole time. I then asked for membership and enrolment costs, so she started showing me all the T-shirt’s she has that are for sale while laughing at the same time. It was insane!! Very unprofessional and I have no idea how in the world she was hired.

Experiencia positiva: I really like the environment of the gym: always clean, plenty of equipment for everyone, and I’ve never felt intimidated by the other gym goers since I’m new to gyms, as a previous home workout kind of person. I knocked off one star because I wish the staffed hours were a little extended- I’m unable to use the premium features of my membership at all during the week as staff is gone by the time I get off work, but I look forward to using them on the weekends!

Experiencia negativa: Last year our child was in the hospital fighting for her life. Our child was in the hospital from August up until her death in November. I mailed the company a letter cancelling the membership. Katie called in October asking for payment as all debt collectors had wiped our account. I advised Katie that we would NOT be continuing the relationship at the gym. She verbally told me that she would cancel the membership. She did not do that. This membership has hit my credit report. We only used the gym 2 times in July. No other time did we use the gym. I have asked the company to remove this from my credit. They are refusing. My mistake is not having this sent certified mail. Which was impossible to do since I had to keep my exposure down in order to be in the hospital with my child. In trying to restore my life I am trying to purchase a home, this is affecting my family. Be careful with signing these contracts they do not understand a hardship not even in death of a 8 year old.

Experiencia positiva: I enjoyed my membership for a few years until I was randomly contacted and accused of misusing my membership. I’m Disgusted with the way I’ve just been treated. Most definitely cancelling and moving to Anytime Fitness in Van Alstyne.

Experiencia positiva: Small little local gym. Newer equipment and very clean. Due to size there are a lack of certain pieces of equipment. And though very clean the staff is constantly vacuuming with the loudest vacuum I have ever experienced, that is somewhat annoying.

Experiencia negativa: Decent facility, but bad business practices in my opinion. My partner canceled his membership and followed the instructions the guy at the front desk gave him. They continued to charge us every month. When we brought this to their attention they refused to refund the money and claimed their was no record of cancelling. If you plan to sign up and end up canceling, get some kind of written confirmation from them or they will not honor it or refund you.

Experiencia positiva: I recently moved to the area and tried Workout Anytime to see if I wanted to get a membership there. I previously had a membership at Planet Fitness so I wanted to find a gym that was comparable. I have no complaints about cleanliness or the staff at Workout Anytime, the gym was clean and the staff was nice. However, the gym is just so small. I went there at 8 p.m. on a Tuesday (a time I thought it wouldn't be very busy) and it was quite crowded. I finished around 10 p.m. and the I felt like I was on top of people and there isn't much room to do free weights or exercises on a yoga mat. I couldn't imagine trying to workout there during peak times like in the morning or after work. If you're just there to do cardio on a machine, you'll be fine at this gym because they have lots of treadmills and such. But if you're wanting to use the weights, strength machines, or do your own workouts on a yoga mat — it's a hard pass.

Experiencia positiva: Recently joined this gym. Workout anytime has a lot more options as far as machines and cardio equipment. It is smaller but at the time I get to the gym I haven’t run into any issues. I like that they have the app and I can use my phone to enter. Staff was nice and took time to explain the sign up process. Other than the size/space in gym it’s a good option with reasonable fees.
