Experiencia fantástica: Hands down the best gym environment I've ever been a part of. All the people in here including the staff are always super nice and supportive. My favorite part of this gym is that there is never too many people in here and all the equipment is clean and put away. I would recommend this gym to anyone who enjoys having breathing room in the gym. Ive been coming here for about 8 months now and love it.

Experiencia positiva: Well, Granite Bay Fitness is now MAP Fitness Granite Bay. For those of us that have been at this gym for a while, some since it was Golds, it's another change of ownership and feel. The new owner Greg is cool and is converting the gym to a mix of workout and MMA training. Their not done with the transformation yet, but many things have changed. While a lot of folks have left, a number of us that have been there a while are riding it out to see what the final results of the transformation will be. The price doubled, but holding out hope thatbwhay gets done will be worth it. Time will tell and fingers crossed!

Experiencia negativa: No masks are fine with whoever is in charge... mgr today told customer not to change the channels on tv. Fox News only...are you kidding me! Was thinking of joining...nope!

Experiencia negativa: We were offered a 7 day pass and Brandon came over and denying theme was a rather rude individual himself had a candy at at the counter so everyone could see it but everyone else was nice and polite if it wasn't for Brandon alone we would have joined the place for real

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member for over fifteen years. They play a great variety of music while working out. It is not overcrowded like some gyms, and has a mom and pop feel. I leave feeling renewed and ready to start my day with a lot of energy.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great a experience working out at Granite Bay Fitness. The staff and members are very friendly, its a great environment to work out in. The equipment is high quality and the gym is never too busy which is great because I could always use the equipment I wanted to. The gym is always super clean and well kept. The manager, Brenden is very nice and helpful and the sign up process was easy. I have been a member of many gyms over the years and this one really stands out as exceptional. I enjoyed working out at this gym and would highly recommend it if your looking for a clean well equipped gym with a friendly welcoming environment.

Experiencia negativa: The gym itself is fine. Nothing special. However the owners or parent company NSFit based out of Chico are terrible to work with. Similar to another reviewer, I cancelled my membership after I moved out of the state and was told I was "All Set". 3 months later I was still being charged. After 3-4 weeks of emails not being returned and calls leading to no one that could help I found the correct person. She informed me (via writing in email) what was going to happen and I would receive a refund of $67. A few weeks go by and I FINALLY got my check. Low and behold it was for $28 not $67. At this point I am so annoyed I am forced to leave this review, as well as a FB and Yelp one. It is not the money that is the issue it is the lack of care, communication and just running a terrible business. I am tempted to start calling the gyms and bug the staff again until this is corrected. NEVER JOIN HERE!!!

Experiencia negativa: Worst Gym ever! Total Thieves! Kept charging me after I cancelled multiple times. Tried to collect on me over personal training I never used. I would run. Can not say how horrible and crooked this gym is!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband & I love this gym. It’s truly a GB Gem! The new owners have added a sense of pride. Things are improving daily and the classes ROCK! Everyone is super nice. Check it out! Love the Spin Classes with Christy, super motivating, she makes all levels of fitness feel comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: The boot camp and cycle classes at this gym are awesome. I feel good that the new owners will do updates they have promised. The people in this gym really make it. If you want the “Cheers” experience where you feel welcomed and challenged, this is your place. ️‍♀️

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member of the gym for as long as it has been there. I watched the tortuous, slow decline over the last years, but remained because it was close and still had the equipment I needed. The new ownership is a true breath of fresh air. Positive change was apparent from the day Jake took over, with more to come. I am expecting continued improvement, and am torn by giving too ringing an endorsement because I enjoy the small crowds, but will delight in seeing business pick up thanks to the positive investment and real leadership that is now evident.

Experiencia positiva: Enjoy the atmosphere, friendly staff. Very little free weight area. One bench and one squat rack which is my biggest complaint.

Experiencia positiva: Nice atmosphere, the staff there is friendly. The music isn't too loud like at some gyms. There are plenty of cardio machines. They have single showers instead of communal. It is almost never crowded except at the typical 5:00 after work rush. My only complaint is that they only have one squat rack and one bench.
