Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful space, great staff, and all the equipment you need and some! Showers and a Sauna! I’m only in town for a short time but I will be going as much as possible! Thank you for the accommodations!

Experiencia positiva: Yes it’s beautiful. Also I love some of the staff. But the music is blaring like a club even though everyone who is an actual customer here has headphones in. Yes- even in the sauna. Bring earplugs and high volume noise canceling headphones if you want to work out here. I’ve been coming here 1.5 years and in that time the cleaning wipes were replaced with industrial rolls of paper towels with no dispenser and a spray bottle. I love the sauna and am very grateful for it but it doesn’t break down quite a bit (because of customers I’m sure) but the wet sauna has been walled off and closed since I joined. The soap and shampoo are empty sometimes so bring your own toiletries if you’re going to shower. Lastly, I pay for a locker but came in one time to find a note threatening to throw my stuff out- even though I had paid. I had to tell the front desk what my locker number was again so they would not do that again. Lots to love but lots of areas to grow into a professional business instead of a big box with constantly loud music.

Experiencia negativa: It's the third time I try to get into the building and the system claims I have cancelled my bloody membership. But, in order to do that I need to send a damned email 30 days prior to the canceling date. BUT I HAVE APPLIED ONLY TWO WEEKS AGO! When I try to ask what the hell is happening, they say they are gonna talk to the manager. But it never happens! Or the manager doesn't give a shit, which, considering the machines available, might as well be true.

Experiencia fantástica: Most iconic gym I've been to! This was the highlight of Baltimore to me, a gymrat. Anyways, the space is VERY well equipped (ski ergs, rowers, stairs/steps machines, treadmills etc) and your functional/cross training gears (battle ropes, medicine balls etc). Female changing room is very well maintained and clean. Too bad I didn't manage to enjoy their sauna facility. Shout out to Freddy for a great midday boot camp too!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an incredible experience at this gym! The inside aesthetics are immaculate and the most unique of any gym I have ever been to. The equipment and workout areas are always clean and well-maintained, and all the employees are extremely helpful and great to get to know. When I moved away from the area, management was cordial and responsive in ending my membership.

Experiencia fantástica: Came to visit Baltimore for a week and found this amazing gym. It’s an old bank turned into a gym. The gym is well equipped and spacious. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Only the opening hours could be longer. Definitely recommending this gym when your in Baltimore.

Experiencia positiva: Amazing building and atmosphere. The attention to maintaining the original aesthetics of the bank are incredibly cool and worth checking out if you're in town to train. If this was my everyday gym I would be very disappointed in the condition of the equipment but most importantly the layout and overall functionality. The space has the potential to be exceptional if the layout was better utilized. That all being said, I will workout here again when I'm back in town.

Experiencia negativa: Front staff is great, management needs work. Garrett, the manager at this location, did not honor a cancellation that was requested weeks prior. To cancel, you need to request an email from the front desk and they do not answer all your questions directly via email. When I asked if they could give some leeway on the cancellation when they couldn’t find my original email, they did not honor the request. I had also called previously to cancel, but I still had to pay an extra 30 days for this gym. Long story short, they are following their system, but do no account for edge cases, nor show empathy via written communication. Otherwise, the gym has a lot of room if you want to lift peacefully and has nice amenities.

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is awesome! So cool to work out in a former gilded age bank. All the equipment is modern and up-to-date. Never too busy. Awesome staff. If you live in Baltimore, or are visiting Baltimore, you are crazy not to come here!

Experiencia negativa: Just quit this awful gym. I would ignore the other reviews on here and, instead, come take a look for yourself. Yes, it’s a gorgeous bank from a bygone era. Today, a majority of the “amenities” are out of order. Dirty, dusty lockers. Not even clean filters so the water is undrinkable—at a gym! This is under armour?

Experiencia fantástica: I love a lot of Gyms in Baltimore but this gorgeous facility remains the last word on everything that a Gym can be and do and do well. The atmosphere of the Historic Bank of America building is powerful yet welcoming every time that I enter this Gym and I feel really fortunate to have access to such a great array of supportive and Functional Equipment with my goals constantly evolving and the Gym offering a platform to remain consistent is a real cornerstone of what every Gym should be. I used to be a Member Years ago and plan on enrolling again as soon as I'm officially moved in to my new apartment.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a flight delay and stayed at a hotel nearby. They recommended the fitness center and it was great. Got there at 530am and the gentleman who helped me with the day pass was super cool. Facility is awesome and being in an old bank adds to the overall feel.

Beautiful old bank, never crowded, tons of various equipment including cardio, machines, weights, Olympic lifting and turf. The headquarters is just as nice and with a great view of the harbor. I have also done personal training and some group classes and really enjoyed both.

Experiencia negativa: They keep charging me even after I've cancelled my membership 3 months ago. I initially called them to cancel my membership and they told me I had to email someone, I eventually got a reply and signed their online form and got confirmation that my membership was canceled but the charges keep coming. Nice gym but an absolute nightmare to cancel your membership.

I’m still enjoying the regular group classes and I think the gym finally has a reliable app with the new FX Well+ app. I was finally able to book a class after months of the gym testing new applications. Also, the gym has made small upgrades/improvements which is appreciated. My biggest gripe is the lack of a Smith Machine. —— Enjoying this facility and my membership so far. I knew I wanted to join after I took a complimentary class with Allison. She is amazing! The other staff is also friendly. My only suggestion for improvement would be to take the time to give every new customer a tour. It also took too long for a rep to contact me to become a member versus just going in to sign up.

Experiencia fantástica: Because of COVID, I was searching for a gym that I felt safe with; this gym was it. The gym is so clean, and the staff comes along every 30 minutes or less to disinfect. Also, this gym is always packed with new equipment, and the equipment is always very well kept. Members stay within their space, and I have never felt unsafe. The staff is amazing. They are always willing to help, and they are always available when needed. I want to highlight Rebecca. She was so fast with handling small issues, and she is always very attentive. It’s a great gym. The gym has an insane military discounts. The gym is clean, and the staff is overtly friendly. The only reason why I left was because I had to move. Otherwise, I would have stayed a member forever.

They went above and beyond to make sure I was familiar with the club and all the equipment. 5 star facility and staff. Well done and thank you for helping this cross country trip go a lot better!

Experiencia positiva: I love the aesthetic of this gym as well as the friendly staff. The tour was pretty comprehensive and i appreciated the level of detail with which they conducted it. I noticed, however, there are quite a few pieces of equipment as well as amenities that i was surprised to know they didn't offer. No decline benches, no ab machines, no red light therapy, no energy drinks. They offer a dry and wet sauna but it's currently broken with no estimate on when it will be fixed. In short, if you're looking for great architecture to admire while you workout, this is the place for you. However, based on my observations, there's nothing here that you can't get from any other gym at a much lower monthly cost.

More than 50% of the training area is this big UA turf strip, but they have pretty solid equipment. No deadlift bars though

Experiencia fantástica: The space makes you want to work out. Its has large open spaces and logical segmentation for the equipment. The membership I'm on is reasonable (2 people for $85) and is a family membership. Which was a big consideration when coming over from retro fitness. They have access to steam rooms and group classes for free as part of the membership which is nice. The only real downside is parking. It's free before 7am and after 6pm but just be mindful before you park. There are hours that towing is enforced. Great gym.

It’s been a while since I regularly went to the gym until I found this one I keep finding myself actually “wanting” to go! So many awesome things about it! I thought it was going to be a challenge getting back at it but I find myself looking forward to going now! Literally the only downside is parking, luckily I live in the building and can walk but if they had some sort of validating parking agreement with a close parking garage like Whole Foods on Fleet does I think they would get soo much more business because that is literally the only thing I’ve heard anyone had a problem with about this gym!

Experiencia positiva: So here’s the thing, the gym is beautiful. It’s really a work of art. My one complaint: parking. There are no parking spots close to the gym. My membership is $45.00 a month which is reasonable. They do validate for $5.00 at a garage but let’s do the math. If I go to gym 3 days a week, (Saturdays and Sundays you can find street parking)and pay $5 three days a week, in a four week month you add an additional $60 a month to your membership which comes to $105.00. I hate to say it but for $105.00 you could join a gym with a basketball court, a pool and a free parking lot. Of course if you work downtown and go to gym before, after work or during lunch break and your employer validates parking or you have to pay for parking regardless this is a non issue. However if you don’t, you should be mindful of this before signing the year contract. When I mentioned this to a member services representative I was told “that’s part of being a member at a gym downtown” which I concur she’s right. but it’s also right that I warn consumers of this additional cost. This is in no way a stab at the gym, just a warning to consumers.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible gym from the front desk personnel with no customer service talent to the LOUD noise being pulled over the speakers. There's also the strange thing of people going fully dressed into the sauna. The staff also misrepresents about cable tv on the equipment. (It's only sports and channel 13) there's also no closed caption on tv or at least just the ones I've been on. This gym is not for everyone.

After getting my membership, a staff member was to show me around the gym. He did not tell his name, walked me pass the front desk, said the locker room is here, the workout area is up the stairs. Good bye. I have never, ever joined a gym and not be taken on a tour once a member, never. I have never seen a the club manager anywhere. Could not tell you his or her name. I rarely see staff anywhere in the gym to offer help or guidance. The dry sauna was working my first day, has been out of order since. Now both the steam room and sauna are down.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at FX Physical Therapy has been nothing short of phenomenal. I have struggled with chronic hip pain for three years which has directly impacted my ability to perform in the gym. After working with FX, my pain level has dramatically decreased. My physical therapist created a plan that would get me back to the gym and feeling better at my own pace. The best part of the staff at FX is that they work with you to accomplish your goals. Not only do the therapists work to get you feeling better, they work to get you back to where you want to be, with your personal goals in mind. After my injury, I never thought I would get back to the fitness level I was at during college athletics. With the help of Kyle, I am lifting and performing better than I ever have. I recommend FX to anyone in the area. You will not be disappointed!

Experiencia negativa: Completely unprofessional and unwilling to accommodate. That's how I would describe my experience at FX Studios. I had a personal situation arise and was hopeful they could help me out, but instead, BOTH customer service reps I spoke to on the phone were rude, hostile, and just plain unwilling to be flexible. I purchased a Groupon and missed all of the fine print; I asked them if they could be flexible and I would pay any additional upcharges as I wanted to plan something special for my guy. Instead, I was told they 'couldn't do anything'. That's not true. It is your job to try and accommodate your customers and when they offer to give you more money, figure out a way to help. Clearly, they have not been trained on good customer service or customer experience. The best part? I received a call back from a VM I had left prior to speaking to them on the phone. The man who called seemed nice enough, so I tried to explain my situation and told him the first interaction was terrible. Again, instead of trying to help me he said 'Well, let's just chalk it up to her having a bad day.'......,A bad day? No offense, but I was having a bad day and was looking to you to help me. That's your job in the service industry. Her 'bad day' does not equate to rude or crude behavior on the phone. Sales and customer service 101. I will be telling all of my friends how terrible of a place this is and have already reported them to Groupon for just being a bad vendor.

Experiencia negativa: Started out OK, membership for 1 year ~6months, facilities were kept pretty clean initially and had plenty of options for workouts, still a fair amount of options but it's gotten harder to find space for free weights ever since they condensed it from three areas to one, also getting tired of the increasingly lazy attempts at keeping locker rooms clean, constantly dealing with people leaving towels and random stuff lying around in the shared locker room area, as well as just having dealt with a shower stall that was covered in dirty Q-Tips I think I'm just about done with this place as it's really gone downhill, there are plenty of less expensive gyms with the same level of cleanliness so I'm not sure what they're charging for. Didn't use the spa or group classes or anything this is purely a review of the gym and locker room facilities. Overall started out positive and ended up becoming much more disappointing than expected.
