Berea Skate Park

Experiencia fantástica: We had my 84 year old mother in laws birthday party 2 weekends ago,this place is awesome. There were kids on the slides kids playing basketball, people on the walking trail. Others eating pizza this place is clean with clean restrooms. Best park Berea has ever had. Whoever the people were behind this idea done a great service for the locals. Thank you so much. Oh and it wasn't our kids playing those were kids from Berea just hanging out. Better than getting in trouble somewhere. Thanks Berea for supporting our kids and our elderly.

Experiencia fantástica: A very small skatepark, for beginnings. It doesn't have much to it , but it's normally low pop.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my favorite little park with nature. Nice walking trail, some trees with some shaded area, small creek along the park, children play grounds on two corners, rest rooms good enough. Due to close proximity to Berea College, I go here when the weather is nice to get a little walk and / or hiking. Trail has some stories on "Berea Story Trail" which gets changed from time to time. Children like to read these stories!

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great park! Clean walking/ bike trails. Basketball court, soccer field, football field, baseball field all accessible. Handicap parking and restrooms. Dogs on leashes are welcome. The Berea pool is in the same location.

Experiencia fantástica: The closest park to where I live - not really a huge park but it has the essentials, a hip, a funbox and a couple other things. Seems to not be busy early in the day but too many people here could get crowded fast. Nice little park.

Experiencia positiva: They have a nice walking trail. It's paved and a very even surface, but my husband and I were looking for a place to walk during the summer and a large portion of the trail is in the sun.

Experiencia positiva: Great little park for the family. Nice walking paths to dip into nature for a bit. Fun jungle gym for smaller kids, concrete basketball court, grills, usually well kept and clean facilities. The skate park is a nice feature but a little jammed together. Well lit at night, good parking, couple of large fields.

Experiencia positiva: The actual skating area of the park -which, based on the name, implies it to be the main attraction- is insanely small. It’s the smallest skate park I’ve ever seen. There’s barely any room to skate. Five skaters at a time is the most you can comfortably have. Even then it’s not ideal. You can push more but there’s a high risk of crashing into each other. Not to mention the risk of scooter kids. Since the skate area is so small there’s no way for the skaters to move away from any random kids on scooters in the middle of everything. That puts both the skater and the child at risk. The equipment for skaters is as basic as it gets. A six foot ramp, a four foot ramp, a small ramp in the middle, a five stair with a rail, and two other rails not connected to anything. In my opinion, you’d have more fun just street skating around the city. The rest of the park is okay. It has a decent trail to walk. There’s two nice sporting fields if that’s your thing. The playground is average. Nothing really notable. Same with the picnic area. It’s about what you’d expect from a public area like that.

Experiencia fantástica: Im a local here. Love the park its very small but better then nothing. I allways have fun her on my bmx bike. Its a skate only park. But they don't mind bike riders. Don't go out of your way to go here like i said its small but if your around come and enjoy. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: They’ve cleaned this place up, updated & added picnic tables. It’s really nice. I would add more seating closer to the play area for parents. Some parents aren’t physically able to stand or play but they want their children to have time at the park. Seating closer to the play area would be a big plus for the community.

Experiencia negativa: Let skaters build the park they want, this place is embarrassing. We need to redo it. Build it just a little better. You want kids to stop skating in the streets? To stop kids from skating your business? Build them a real park.

Experiencia positiva: Playground for kids. There is a walking/Running trail that starts here and ends at the artisan center some 2 miles away. There is a soccer and a football field too. Green shady trees on the periphery.

Experiencia negativa: Keep the lights on passed 10. It's not right for the people who work night shift and want to get off and shoot some hoops

Experiencia positiva: It's not very big, but it's part of a nice park with public restrooms and water fountains. We usually spend time on the walking trails while our son skateboards.
