Experiencia fantástica: The price is fair, considering the value you get for it. There's absolutely no shortage of weights, weightlifting equipment, and cardio equipment. There are multiple workout rooms, a full size basketball court and a swimming pool. If you can't find something to do at this gym, you're not trying to work out.

Experiencia negativa: I really enjoyed going to this gym but unfortunately it is NOT very welcoming of new members ! It's a good ol' boy club , everybody knows each other and if your a new guy the other male gym regulars will try to intimidate you , stare you down , mean mug you etc.. I have had men stare me up and down while using the showers , whenever I try to use a machine some petty guy will say he's using it when he clearly was not ! I feel like I'm in 3rd grade again dealing with all the petty immature insecure guys , I started out going to this gym around 2 / 3 ish pm in the afternoon and the guys in there were extremely hostile towards me , acted like children , I've had my car screwed with in the parking lot , than I started going in the mornings about 7 am and it didn't take long for those guys to start hawking me down , trying to intimidate me all over again , if your a guy and your new to this gym I wouldn't recommend , it's just sad that as a combat veteran in my own country in my home state and I'm treated with such disrespect .

Experiencia fantástica: I came to YF with a day pass ($12). Staff was so friendly. The facility had everything I needed. Plenty of equipment of all kinds. The only time there was a wait was to use the squat racks. I love most how many different rooms there are. Really big and fantastic facility. Pool and showers were clean too. I plan to come back whenever I get the chance.

They have a class schedule with multiple class offerings, a protein shake bar, clean bathroom facilities etc. the gym is a moderate size with sufficient machines and weights. It’s kept pretty clean by staff and the people who attend here seem to be a good crowd. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Walked in on Saturday at about 1pm to get a day pass, there was no one at the front desk, I waited for about 10 minutes then finally three teenagers came up, one boy and two girls. They didn’t really acknowledge me at first, then finally helped me, the whole time they just kept talking to each other while helping me. I know they are teens but it’s very unprofessional and unwelcoming for new guests like me. I eyed the front desk many times during my workout and multiple times the front desk was unattended. Very disappointed.

Experiencia positiva: Been with this gym for at least 10 years – so obviously I love it! Only other place I’d probably go is Fuel, but they’re across town. YF is always pretty clean. When it's jam-packed during peak hours, it does get a bit cramped. Pricing feels a bit much due to a few things… There’s limited hours. I don’t regularly go late to the gym, but there have been enough instances that’s it’s a bit of a nuisance. Lots of newer machines, but some still need replaced, as could the free weights near women’s locker room. More intervals in the free weights would be beneficial as well, like 12.5lbs, 17.5lbs, etc.. Lots of other gyms have them & it’s so nice to have the options. Especially during peak hours when it’s hard to get your hands on the weights you may need. Could use more 45-pound plates by the squat racks (didn’t think I’d ever see the day where I said that!). Also, can we nix the prolonged filming? I’ve had friends send me people’s videos where I’m in the background and it’s annoying. That’s not what I pay for. I get that people may want to record things like their PR attempts… But setting your phone up on equipment and/or tripods interferes with other members workouts in multiple ways.

This guy really cares about his clients well being and cues amazingly. I'm vision impaired and currently pregnant. Signed up for a refresher in form loved every minute. I felt heard and got some great tips to help me continue my lifting journey throughout this pregnancy. Thanks y'all

Experiencia fantástica: While I was living in billings I went to the gym and I love it. Now I come couple weeks every other months and they let me go w no crazy fee. I love the atmosphere. The people who work there always are very nice and friendly. The place always is extremely clean. This place give me great energy!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My physical therapist is showing me how to work out down there. I'm paralyzed so she has to show me certain ways to work out on certain machines. It's the only place I've been able to work out since they closed Saint Vincent's workout room.

Experiencia fantástica: Best gym in billings. A little expensive at $60/mo. However, there are a lot of amenities. Classes are included in membership. Within the gym, there is a pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, even punching bags, and a large room with mirrors. If you'd like an all-around gym with everything you could need, this is your gym.

Experiencia fantástica: During the months I have been a member (about 10) I have found this gym to be great place to work out. There is enough equipment for even the busiest mornings, the women’s restroom has always been clean, the pool area and sauna are the perfect temperature, and everyone is friendly and helpful. As for classes, there are quite a few for all age and strength levels, but I have only participated in Pilates so far. I would appreciate Zumba at a convenient hour (not 5:30 am!) but you can’t have everything. If you are a couple, and one of you is over 65, we found Yellowstone fitness to have the best monthly rate around!

Experiencia negativa: The equipment here is fine, but they really struggle to maintain a good gym atmosphere. The staff also have inconsistencies within their policy causing members confusion. They have a basketball court, which is nice, but I've been bullied out of basketball for pickel ball by 80 year old women.

Experiencia fantástica: I loved it here for years until I brought up a questionable poster that can encourage disordered eating to management. The manager told me to "cool my jets," "get a life," and that I was "blowing it way out of proportion" All without listening to any customer feedback. Consequently, they no longer have my business.

Experiencia fantástica: Good gym. Free weights, good variety of machines. Plenty of stair master, treadmills, ellipticals, bikes ect. Separate rooms for stretching, abs, and plyometrics. Facility is clean. Has a steam room, sauna, pool and spa.

Experiencia negativa: My sister-in-law was repeatedly harassed by a male maintenance employee, Robert, over several months at Yellowstone Fitness. Inappropriate comments, stalking, unwanted attention, disregard for personal space, etc. When she reported the situation to the owner, Don, he admitted that there had been problems in the past with that employee for similar behavior and that it would "never happen again". Over the next few months, the employee was extremely hostile toward her, and resorted to pathetic acts of intimidation, such as glaring while she worked out, staring her down in the parking lot while she was in her car, and even flipping her off (which was caught on camera). It reached the point where she no longer felt comfortable, or even safe going to the gym. When this was brought to the attention of the owner again, he refused to take necessary action to ensure that a young woman would feel safe in his gym, and around his employees, despite video surveillance supporting her claim. Given the choice between keeping loyal clients and replacing his creepy maintenance guy, he made the wrong choice. Regardless of the outcome of this situation, it is apparent that this gym is more interested in making money than ensuring the safety of female clients. It's 2022. A woman should be able to go to the gym without being harassed and intimidated by its male employees, or anyone else, and a gym owner and other staff are responsible for taking quick and decisive action when such situations arise. I could not in good conscience support a business that treats women and handles public safety in this way, and I know that I am not alone in this. Yellowstone Fitness might be a great gym, but it's a terrible place to do business.

Experiencia negativa: My friend is being harassed by a man working at the facility. This has been caught on camera and brought up to management multiple times. The owner of the business refuses to do anything to protect her. She obviously does not feel safe working out here anymore and is currently having to try find a new gym. She's built up a community at this gym and is devasted to have to start over but the conditions here are no longer safe for her here.

Experiencia fantástica: They do have a sauna, steam room, hot tub and swimming pool. I loved it there. The pass I bought was for 1 day, however it happened to be fir 2 days. I can remember the exact amount I paid but it was under 10 US dollars. Have no pic as I didn't take any.

Experiencia positiva: Just moved to Billings and after trying out several gyms we decided on YF. I like the equipment they carry, older model machines (which I prefer), nice newer cardio equipment. Newly remodeled locker rooms are really nice.

Experiencia positiva: Great gym for the average person or bodybuilding enthusiast. Gym is not really catered to athletes or powerlifters. They have a handful of athletic gear like bumper plates. But if you use them for what they’re made for you will get glared at. Not necessarily the gyms fault. Only notable negative is that the gym turns into a zoo from 4-7 pm. Getting steadily worse. Maybe time to up the membership price sadly.

Experiencia fantástica: This is our new favorite local gym. It is a verify large gym, and can get busy, but what gym isn't busy at 5pm. If you go in the mornings, you are guaranteed to get on the machines, or use the free weights without having to fight for anything. The owners are wonderful. Lots of cardio variety, along with classes, and options. And the price is worth it..

Experiencia negativa: 10+ year members leaving YFC and incredibly disappointed in the Owner/Manager of the Don Christensen. The end of August, my Wife Julie went to a machine that was not being used and sat down. An individual nearby rushed over and told her he was using the machine – and despite his behavior and the rules regarding anyone “saving” equipment, she left without a word. At that point several individuals who had witnessed the event came to her and told her she should not have allowed the individual to kick her off a machine that as not in use. Later as my wife was leaving ,she approached the individual who had claimed the machine and politely pointed out that her membership was the same as his and she had as much right to the open machines as he did. At that point he told her to “f-off” and his friend Miranda ran up and began calling Julie an f-ing old c—t” – repeatedly) (actually several dozen times before Julie left the YFC). Julie left and went to the front desk and both individuals followed her – continuing the swearing and asking if she was going to “tell on them”. Julie did let the YFC person at the front desk know what happened – all the while the two individuals continued their verbal assault. At this point Julie was trembling and in tears and the YFC person said they needed to take this outside – Julie left (the other two individuals did not) and the YFC person went out the door with her. Julie told her she didn’t know if she could ever return given the circumstances. Julie got home and was trembling and crying and told me what had happened. I immediately went down to YFC and asked the YFC individual there what she had done about the behavior of the two individuals and she said she had told them their language was not acceptable. I told her that was not sufficient and that I need to speak to Don Christiansen the owner manager. He was not there and I asked that he call me when he returned. Over the next several days I did not get a call but stopped by each day to ask to see Don. Several days later he called and I went down to YFC to meet with him. Don told me he had not had a chance to speak to the individuals but that he understood there had been an argument over a machine. I was surprised by this – given the FYC front desk individuals having witnessed a portion of the attack and assured Don that this was not an argument over a machine but a vicious cruel verbal attack on my wife – completely unprovoked. I told him he could confirm that by talking to a number of members present, as I had, who witnessed the attack and that were equally shocked. Additionally the YFC has security cameras that would have recorded the entire episode. I advised Don that we were looking for no more than a simple apology – which he agreed was certainly due. He told me he would speak to the two individuals and get back to me. I told Don that we would appreciate that and that if an apology was nor forthcoming – and the individuals were allowed to remain as members that Julie and I would not – trusting that there would be little doubt as to what type of members Don wanted at the YFC. Sadly, despite a couple of follow-up conversations with Don, and now 2+ mo later, it appears that we were wrong and that this type of behavior is acceptable at YFC. Julie and I have moved to another gym, sad to leave our friends but unwilling to support a business who won’t do what is clearly the right thing. Not all bad, our new member ship cost will drop from $75 to $45 and the facility is every bit as nice. We don’t expect the loss of our membership will impact YFC – but over time this behavior will have an impact on their business
