Experiencia negativa: My family had started a family account when I was a minor and in high school and added me to the account. They then let the account run out on its own rather than canceling (poor choice I know). Here we are a full 8 years later and now as an adult, I am on the hook for the entire balance of whatever they decided to run up the bill to for the origional family account before I am able to enroll in an individual membership. I was clearly not responsible for the account, it is very clearly not tied to my name in collections, yet I can't train at the gym closest to my residence due to nothing more than an old "policy", even though the details I have stated have been confirmed and acknowledged. Take the membership and shove it TFC.

Experiencia fantástica: We have now been members for months. The facilities are clean, the staff is wonderful and nobody there pressures anyone to do anything. The premium "turf" area can be crowded sometimes but people have been polite and share well. They have a large pool as well as a therapy pool and a heated whirlpool. Overall I feel the prices are fair and can happily recommend this gym to anyone of any age.

Sheila helped us get out and was so accommodating and welcoming!! Highly recommend as a girly who isn’t too keen on working out in crowded spaces during the week!

Experiencia fantástica: Been working out my whole life, been to more than 20 gyms. This one is in my top 5. Great equipment. Arsenal equipment is some of the best in the industry. You can tell who ever picked out the weights and equipment knew what they were doing. Everything is high quality. The dumb bells are beautiful. They have real iron weights here which is rare. Gym is clean and never packed. Was hesitant to right a good review because I want to gate keep this gym. If you are considering this place or any main stream commercial gym, you should pick this one if you care about great equipment and atmosphere. I have the premium membership, worth every penny. Just wish the cold plunge was included. I never see it get used because it costs 15$ per plunge. I would be willing to pay extra for unlimited use of the cold plunge

Experiencia negativa: I went by this location a couple of weeks ago for a tour. I was comparing four different gyms in the area. I checked this one out for the group classes and the wet area. The staff member who gave me the tour literally RAN through the tour. I didn't have a chance to really see anything or ask any questions. The place is tiny and there are limited operating hours. However, I was super interested in the wet area access so I was going to join up today. I'm so glad I read the reviews first. Nobody ever told me that the cold plunge wasn't included either, and I would NEVER pay extra to downgrade or cancel...especially when the website says it's month to month. Ya lost a customer, TFC. Shame on you.

There is a wide variety of arobic and weight equipment. The aquatics area has cool, warm, hot, steam and dry sauna and pool areas available; I enjoy them all.

The staff are fun and help everyone and they even take time to answer my questions when I get curious about new things. I can only use the pool (due to medical issues) but I still feel valued and appreciated every time I walk in the door! If you are looking for others to work out with, this is the place to be! GREAT PLACE TO WORK OUT!

Experiencia negativa: Pretty disappointed with their membership services. I am currently on the most expensive membership plan they have. I was injured in a car wreck & wanted to change to the basic plan bc I couldn't use the other services indefinitely. I can't even use a regular treadmill currently. They told me I'd have to re-enroll & pay an application fee just to change my plan. So ridiculous!! Membership canceled!!

Experiencia negativa: I would avoid starting a contract at this gym, it’s an alright gym with average equipment but the contract is just such a scam, 40 dollars down with 20 a month and then there’s 40 annual fee and when you cancel your membership you have to pay for 2 more months.

Experiencia fantástica: Total Fitness Connection on Russellville Rd....for a lack of better words, "Is Bad A$$". I sealed the deal on my Premium Plus Membership on day one. I've tried other gyms in Bowling Green & this facility is miles ahead of them all, super friendly & helpful staff, awesome weightlifting equipment, my favorite & what sold me was the Steam Room, Jacuzzi & pool area. So far in just 3 weeks, I'm down 12lbs & starting to put back on some noticeable muscle.... With that said, I would give the Staff & Facility at "Total Fitness Connection" 10 stars if i could......⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Literally because of life circumstances not in my control I live 3 hours away from the gym and was told by Sheila that I couldn’t cancel my membership and was told about some 60 day cancellation rule I wasn’t even told about during sign up. I have to give written notice and continue to pay for a gym I can’t even go to for another 2 months. They’re lucky they even got the last 2 months of payment out of my exs bank account. The FTC passed a new law making this kind of business ILLEGAL! All subscriptions must offer an easy 1 click or call to cancel memberships. During tour of facility was told everything was included. Whole reason I picked the gym was for the cold plunge which actually costs Extra to use every single time you use it. This gym is a scam and over half the time I went there I couldn’t even swim because the pool is so tiny. Whole reason I signed up was for the cold plunge and the pool

Experiencia negativa: Had e-mail correspondence with "Sheila" and she was very rude. I was trying to inquire about potential discounted memberships for (younger) people on SSD and was callously told they only helped military personnel and those 65 and older and essentially anyone else was SOL. It would be nice if the ONLY gym in BG with a pool was a bit more concerned about their potential clients who are disabled. I guess since my family is on a fixed income we don't deserve a membership. I bet the CORE in Scottsville is more accommodating.

Experiencia negativa: Signed up for the highest premium plus membership not long ago. During the tour I was given before signing up, it was explained to me the full gym, recovery, pool area, sauna, steam room and secured room were all included in this membership. Even had a long specific conversation with staff member about how excited I was about the cold plunge for recovery. Finally had the time to plunge after my workout today, and when I approached the counter for assistance was told this one particular service was an EXTRA charge. This was never mentioned to me during my tour or when signing up, and again had a whole conversation specifically about my excitement for the cold plunge being included and was never told it was EXTRA. I calmly walked through this with the front desk staff today, and politely suggested they make sure to tell people during their tours and not seem to purposely hide the fact that it’s extra, and that it definitely comes off very “con artist” like. To which I got the literal response of, “ I gotchu, I gotchu.” That response makes me want to cancel this membership and go back to the gym I originally left to move here. Which I hate because the gym itself is great, I just can’t stand business being done like this. Also, no prices or ANY INDICATION in the gym, close to the cold plunge OR EVEN ON THE WEBSITE that this costs additional money. Premium plus membership is even the only one on the website that has NO EXCLUDED tab vs. the other memberships that show what’s not included with each membership. Not happy, to say the least.

Experiencia negativa: My sister and I went into this gym originally being advertised for only 2 types of membership, the lowest of 9.95 and the highest 49.95. No other type of membership were mentioned and we were given false information that with the highest membership, the premium plus, we would get to access both locations, the sauna, pool, AND the cold plunge (this was before the Russelville location opened up). As it turns out, you can have access to both locations, the sauna and the pool, with just having to pay either 19.95 or 39.95, which are the other 2 type of memberships that was never mentioned. And the cold plunge was never included with the premium plus, that will be an extra charge if you were to want to use it. We were also told that with the premium plus, there will be no contract and cancellation fees. However, that seems to be a lie because regardless of having the most expensive membership, we still would have to pay off 2 months out in order to cancel. That would be an extra $100+! Not to mention that he also failed to let us know that if we were to downgrade our membership, there would be a 42.95 charge! There was A LOT of information left out during our initial sign up and we felt scammed for not being told about all information upfront. Definitely not a totally transparent business. Their hours of operation also suck too.

Experiencia positiva: The gym is nice and I love the pool, but the hours are terrible. Should be open later if not 24 hours, and who ever heard of a Gym closed on Easter Sunday? Not all of your customers are religious, and it's kind of a slap in the face to those of us who aren't. It's like you don't value our fitness goals as much as the church going members.

Experiencia positiva: We are a senior couple and the price is great. With all new equipment, heated exercise pool, steam and sauna. +classes it is near perfect. Locker room a little bit small and only 5 showers.

Experiencia positiva: Joined this gym a couple weeks ago, and I’m kind of regretting it, not gonna lie. I was blown away by how pretty and new the gym was, but I’m realizing it’s pretty lacking in certain departments. Here’s some thoughts: I hate the wristbands. They’re uncomfortable, ugly, and don’t scan half the time. Restricting the core/turf area to only the most expensive membership is pretty dumb. Like there is genuinely no place for you to do core unless you want to dish out 50 bucks a month or just do core in the middle of the weight room with no mat. The steam room is nice, but it doesn’t get hot or steamy enough. I joined the gym mostly for this amenity but Im now realizing it sucks. The sauna is really cool and roomy though. The mens locker room smells terrible. I get a fresh whiff of the most foul body odor hitting me in the face every time I step in. Please get better chemicals cause whatever you’re using is NOT doing the trick. However, there are some things I like about this gym. I like how new and sleek the equipment is, especially the treadmills. The quick input buttons on the side is a huge help. I also love the little bounce they have. The pool is fantastic and seems to be well-maintained. Overall, I think this is a decent gym, but I’m finding it hard to justify the 50/month premium plus membership. Might downgrade and just do core at home to be honest.

Experiencia positiva: I appreciate the opportunity to use a complimentary day pass at the gym. However, I noticed a significant issue with the disorganized and unprofessional arrangement of the exercise machines. The presentation appears forced and rushed, creating an awkward and unnatural look. The gym seems more geared towards individuals looking for a sauna and swimming experience rather than those seeking efficient workout with effective equipment. Considering the mix of old and new machines, the current monthly fee doesn't seem justified. I hope improvements are implemented to enhance the overall experience. I should have taken pictures… to late now maybe next time.

The wet area access starts at 40$ a month but I’m not someone that really cares for any of that. Free weights, a wide variety of machines at both gyms, and plenty of cardio equipment. Chefs kiss.

Experiencia negativa: Had a monthly membership to a single location wiped out by tornado. They said they'll allow me to visit other locations, and wanted a 2 month fee if I refused. I had to contact the state AG before they stopped arguing with me. Very rude owner. Owner mocked me for complaining about a hole in my ceiling, since they lost their whole building. However, I was home, and it wasn't my business damaged, it was my home. There's a difference. We were homeless for a bit and lost a neighbor, this was the last thing I wanted to deal with. The review I wrote months ago is mysteriously gone.

Experiencia negativa: They stole are money because we paid for a whole course and we didn't finish that whole course, so when we told them to refund all that money back to us they didn't give us the full amount they only paid a certain portion of it. They pretty much cancelled our training for swimming. When we told them that we will give them the money back that they gave us and finish the course for swimming they didn't agree.

Was told I need to drive to the three springs location to sign a 60 day cancelation and continue to pay for a gym that is no longer there for those 60 days. Would not recommend this gym because of poor management and lack of cust service.

Experiencia negativa: Equipment is old and junky. They are usually out of basic things like paper towels and sanitizer. They are closed right now due to storms but will not let you cancel without charging you 2 months after cancellation.

In June that changed when I overheard some women older than me talking about Total Fitness Connection randomly and some of the activities they take part in there. Still not sure why, but I went, for 20 minutes and was extremely comfortable with my surroundings, to my surprise. The staff and other members were friendly and warm and very welcoming. Needless to say, I haven't looked back since, I go 5 to 7 times a week now for an hour. I've since also joined weight watchers, lost 32 lbs, 4 inches from my waist, my blood pressure and bpm are great, my stress level is down, I'm happier and have more strength and stamina than ever in my LIFE. I can honestly say, if I had went in that first day and not felt as comfortable as I did, this journey I'm on wouldn't have lasted past that day. Now I'm looking forward to where this journey will lead me. Just go ONE day, and may you receive the exact motivation I did!!
