This is a FAMILY gym hence Wellness Center if you want hardcore go to Crossfit

Experiencia fantástica: The center is quite close to my house and I was initially hesitant to join because they allow kids to use the center. I just wasn't sure how that would work out. After my one month trial, I saw that it was not an issue for me at all. The memberships have since gone month-to-month for everyone so no risk if you don't like it. It's pricier than other gyms around, but it's worth it to me. This has got to be the cleanest gym I've ever worked out at! They really do a good job with class diversity, workshops, and providing good training and support. Staff are always friendly and look like they enjoy working here.

Experiencia fantástica: A very nice facility and all the equipment is well cared for and in working order in my experience. Indoor pool and track, plenty of cardio and weight machines, decent free weight area (not huge, but haven't run into any problems with it being crowded or waiting on equipment so far), and some individual training areas on the second floor with various weights, balls, mats, etc. I haven't used either, but there is also a climbing wall and massage services available onsite as well. The facility is clean, and there are plenty of sanitary stations around to clean equipment easily before and after use. Staff has been very kind and helpful in both general information and in instructor lead classes. Their website hosts an event calendar showing all the free member group exercise classes available (as well as more educational classes ranging from health education, Nutrition, and recovery specific clinics). I personally find the location convenient, and there is plenty of parking outside the facility. I've gone at a few different times during the week both around lunch and after work, and have not found it to be too crowded at any point. If it's important to you, on the whole a good mix of people going there across the spectrum of age, gender, and athletic ability, atmosphere is very judgment free so no worries on "being the odd one out". On the more expensive end of membership rates. $76 a month, with no long term contract, no enrollment fee, and can cancel at anytime. You also get 6 free 1 day guest passes a year. Membership comes with a free fitness evaluation with a certified trainer and 30min consultion with a registered dietician, also gives you access to the UNC Meadowmont facility in Chapel Hill. Their website does a good job of highlighting the facility features and amenities, and membership rates and benefits. Overall I have been very happy using this facility and recommend checking it out in person if you are interested to get a good feel for it yourself prior to joining, as enrollment is all done online.

Experiencia fantástica: I use the Chapel Hill facility to my delight as a guest visitor while receiving Physical Training Theraphy on a weekly basis. I also do weekly message theraph to kedp my body muscles and nerves in top form. Big difference and improvement for me first 2 months. Looking to gain membership at Cary site which is now closer to where I have relocated.

Experiencia fantástica: Great team of staff who showed sincere care for every patient that they interact with. I was there for 6 weeks, and everyone call me by name all the time. From the moment I'm checking in to the various individuals that worked me. Of course technology has a part to play, and even though I was seen by about 4 different individuals, they all knew who I last saw and they followed up with what I last worked on.

A bit expensive but guess you pay more to enjoy all the benefits - well maintained equipments, nice inner walking area, group classes, sauna, swimming pool... basketball play area, outdoor field and yes.... ample parking which gets crowded during evening .

Experiencia fantástica: Best gym in the area the staff are very nice and knowledgeable they got tons of equipments it's a bit pricey but it's all worth it, they also got rock claiming wall *which is my fav thing to do there* bc I usually go there just to climb:) the people who work in the climbing wall area Jack, Chris, Well & Sara are SO nice and friendly! Btw they offer Yoga classes and many more, I highly recommend this place ;)!!

Ive paid double the fee monthly for me and my son other places. I also appreciate that I come here and never feel like I'm in a "club" and can work out with friendly folks in peace and not be hit on. Experiencia fantástica: Best wellness center in the area. Large indoor pool with a hot tub and a sauna. Large amount of physical training equipment. They have personal trainers and a physical therapy facility.

Experiencia fantástica: My kids love the rock wall (ages 4+) and so do I. UNC Wellness also has the nicest pool in the area for lap swimming. Overall, it is a clean, friendly facility that is worth the premium price. Towels are provided. There a number of classes (including some for kids!), and you can view them by going to the website and looking at the programs calendar.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this facility. I always find the machine of my choice available as they have plenty of equipment, upstairs and down. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful - from the front desk staff, to the cleaning ladies, to the life guards and the massage therapists. Speaking of massage therapists - see Michelle. She was amazing and worked some kinks out of my back that I'd been suffering from for weeks. Love the pool, hot tub and sauna room as well. Still need to try the rock climbing wall, but it's on my list. They also offer a large variety of classes of all kinds. Love their yoga and meditation instructors, especially Sam. Totally worth the cost.

Experiencia fantástica: Best place to work out in the triangle. Top-notch equipment and plenty of space to stretch and work on core both upstairs and downstairs. Very clean facility, friendly staff, and lots of free classes that are led by great instructors. I highly recommend the TRX classes. Not too overcrowded, even during peak hours. With the large indoor pool, climbing wall, outdoor turf field, strength and cardio equipment, indoor track, child care, and extensive selection of classes, I highly recommend UNC Wellness Center at NW Cary. I've tried gyms and fitness centers all over the Triangle, and this one remains the best value for my money by far.

Experiencia fantástica: CLEANEST full-sized gym/pool/fitness in the triangle! Great staff. I've worked out in TONS of gyms in the area since 1996. Many if not most of those gyms dont even exist anymore. This place is fantastic. The only thing I wish they had is racquet ball court.
