Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member of the Zoo for just about 2 months. During this time I have had the pleasure of working with Marc and other trainers from RedWood. I can't believe the results I am seeing in just a short time! With their help, humor, and support, in just over 6 weeks I have lost 10lbs and my body fat is down 3%! I feel healthy and strong and can't wait to see what the future holds!

Experiencia fantástica: Good gym, lots of different machines of all types. Infrared sauna in bathroom only goes to 150, but that's alright. Friendly staff. Updated: sauna in the men's locker room has been broken for a month. I've let the staff know multiple times. Not just me but other gym goers have expressed frustration with this. Please fix it. Updated: sauna has been fixed

Experiencia fantástica: they aren't just a gym! they also rent space to other people. spray tan!! they also are starting to offer MMA type of classes i believe with their membership pretty sweet!!

Experiencia fantástica: As a new Zoo member, I have had a great experience with Redwood Personal Trainer Grant T. I'm an older, retired trainer with high standards in addition to aging issues, and Grant has gone out of his way to design a program and provide support while putting up with how picky I am. He really understands kinesiology and takes a gentle, encouraging, but firm approach to motivation and accountability. Grant is a great resource!

Experiencia fantástica: Worked with trainers Jaden and Marc and both were super helpful and encouraging. They know exactly what to focus on in order to reach my fitness goals and helped form a simple yet effective plan to reach those goals. 10/10 highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been at the Zoo gym in concord for the past 6 months and just recently I've had the pleasure of meeting Coach Cory. I'm very excited to start working with Coach Cory and see what he has planned for me going forward. He is a very inspiring person and did a fantastic job at explaining to me the ins and outs of his program. No going back!

Experiencia fantástica: I have no problems with the Zoo itself. The gym is great. I am telling about my experience with Redwood training. I was given a free session of training and we started to discuss terms of what I was looking for. I said I am on a tight budget and I have a pretty decent background in fitness so I just need to be pushed back into it. So what we agreed upon is 40 dollars a session. One session a week for three months then once a month after that until I reach the end of the year contract. We must have went over it three times. He shows the the online signature area and I couldn't see the top of the contract. Says I will be emailed that copy. I was not verbally told that I had a three day window to change my mind. I never got the email. turns out they input it in wrong. So by the time I noticed that he put my down for one session a week ALL YEAR I was livid. He( Keith) new dam well that was not what I wanted. So now I am stuck in this contract and I am working a good 60 hours a week to just stay afloat and I cannot afford the 345 dollars to buy myself out because it will equal almost 600 before I pay off the month I am "using" . I haven't been in there for months because I did not want to use it while disputing it. They will not budge on the cancellation fee even after explaining my story. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH REDWOOD. I had a co-worker tell me they were way overcharging her card and had all kinds of problems. I would like to add that I really liked one of the trainers James, he is always very nice and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Jaiden has been an amazing trainer. She keeps me going when I don’t think I can do it! Seeing results in 3 months is due to her support and persistence.

Experiencia fantástica: Clean facility, lots of room for social distancing, plenty of equipment, and there's always someone there to cheer you on. Been working with Mark and Brittany from Redwood Personal Training and it has been great. There's no judgement at all, only a drive to find a better version of yourself. Would highly recommend to someone looking for something more than just a gym.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to Planet Fitness off and on for years and never really stuck to it. Then I started here at the Zoo and I actually look forward to coming to the gym! Love all the different equipment and the convient vending machine with pre-work out and protein shakes. I also met with Redwood Personal Training, specifically Marc and had an awesome time. He was so meticulous with every detail of the plan and correcting my form, but was super encouraging and didn't make me feel like an idiot. I can't wait to continue my training with him!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a member of The Zoo for a little under a month and I love the atmosphere and the equipment they have. The staff is all welcoming and friendly. Today I had the pleasant of training with Marc. He really brought to light some reasons on why I wasn't making the best progress all while still uplifting me as an individual. He made me feel valued as a member and person. I look forward to meeting my goals with the new and approved workout plan (adjusted to fit my needs), and professional guidance by Marc.

Experiencia fantástica: Very clean place. Lots of space and machines. The Redwood team is great. I sat down with Marc a few days ago and he is very knowledgeable. He took the time and figured out my goals and what I wanted out of personal training. Good solid hour of chatting and going over what I wanted. Most other places do not go into as much detail. I would highly recommend them.

The gym/locker rooms are clean and they are taking precautions with covid seriously so no member feels unsafe. They offer several different classes which are challenging but always modified to your level. They have all new equipment and staying on top of their game. I’ve been to several gyms in the concord area but the Zoo blows them away

Experiencia fantástica: From the second you walk in the gym you feel welcome and at home. The staff is very friendly and always cleaning the equipment. The owner is always around chatting with different members and getting suggestions on what new equipment should be bought for the club. During covid I was charged a few months when the club was closed, after they re opened I talked with the managers and they 100% refunded the money to my account. This is the best gym around and looks like it will be for a long time with all the new equipment that’s added all the time. Perfect gym for all lifters from being newbies to seasoned lifters, everyone feels welcome.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is spotless, they are constantly cleaning and making sure everything is in top shop.

Experiencia fantástica: The wait for it to open was long, but well worth it. Clean, open 24 hours (great for someone who works nights) and an assortment of different cardio machines and weights. Edit 09/12/2021: I still stand by my 5 star review. Not sure what the other guy's talking about with the "treat you like a paycheck." I've always felt well treated by staff and management, since day 1.

Experiencia fantástica: The Concord Zoo is one of the largest, cleanest facilities I've been to. I recently started working with a personal trainer named James who is fantastic. It was obvious from day one that he genuinely cares about his clients. He took the time to understand my goals, workout preferences and motivators before putting together a plan. He helped me create a nutrition plan that works for me. He takes the time to craft workouts that challenge me and help me get better. It is apparent he has the knowledge I need in a personal trainer to be successful. Thanks for all you do James!

The gym is kept neat and clean; and they have plenty of disinfectant products to be able to wipe down equipment. I 100% recommend anyone to sign up for a membership here. You won’t regret it.

Experiencia fantástica: I became a member when the Manchester location first opened up. When it was only on the second floor of the DMV plaza. It has advanced in so many ways since then. I go to the Manchester location a lot more than Concord due to it being about a mile from my home. But, I have been here a couple times. Last time I was about to talk with Julian. Julian, Auri, and most of the other people are good people. I paid in full or was working there so I did not have to pay month to month. I love how they have strongman equipment here! Now for the flaws, the prices for pre-workout is crazy, lol!

Experiencia fantástica: Nice enough people. Call them if you need info, though, the only reply you'll get emailing them from their site is automated marketing emails. Manager Nicole is the most helpful person here. I'm visiting from Florida (I have a Zoo membership down there) and this place is like 10 times larger and a good deal more modern.

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is amazing. They have everything; crossfit equipment, strongman equipment, every piece of gym equipment you can think of. It's so big in open you don't feel crowded even if it's busy. I've been to a lot of gyms and this is by far the best around. And it's keycard true 24hr.
