It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for improvements in physical health, want to learn useful techniques for self defense, help teach your kids self defense, and/or more importantly teach them self respect. The owner is a extremely hands on and has selected other instructors that are up to his standards. I’ve had memberships to various boxing and mma gyms over the last 15 years and I have absolutely no regrets about joining this one. 5-stars!

As soon as I entered ATT Deerfield I was greeted with a great training atmosphere with many great people who I can call my family. Rafael has played a pivotal role in developing my jujitsu game to a different level along with Bruce who taken my Maui Thai skills and helped me develop different styles. Experiencia fantástica: I work Security for the Building that AMERICAN TOP TEAM is in, for 6 months I’d peek my head in and watch a little bit and noticed the encouragement to one another and how they treated each other like a family and the coaches were humble to there students in the way they taught, to say the least I was impressed. So I finally mustard up the courage to get in there and I’ll never look back. It’s been a life changing experience. Everyone wants to help you succeed in learning the art.

The environment is also great and the other training partners there make you feel welcomed and are more then happy to teach you. I was really nervous to try bjj, but after a trial class I signed up immediately. When you walk in the door the first time here’s what to expect; First, you’ll be greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. The instructors and secretary make sure to acknowledge you and welcome you to the ATT Deerfield family! After that, it’s time to hit the mats. I really appreciate that this academy puts safety first. The most important person on the mat will be your training partner, and we always strive to keep our training partner safe. That’s what the coaches teach from day one. Lastly, the head coach has a wealth of bjj knowledge from decades of experience as a competitor and teacher. You’ll learn techniques that work! What’s better than that?

As a complete beginner I was initially apprehensive, however, Rafael ensured that I safely and gradually learned the basics to create a solid foundation. Rafael’s NO EGO ethos trickles down to all levels from the coaches to the students. He creates a fun, energetic and safe environment for students from beginners to advanced. The coaches are highly engaged and make certain that students teach each other, forming genuine camaraderie. The gym is thoroughly sanitized and the staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient. Rafael is one of the friendliest people I’ve met and treats the children in his classes like his own. He has a special relationship with each child and makes them feel comfortable and confident. The same can be said of coach Everton who teaches the little ninjas classes. Everyone is extremely welcoming and eager to teach. I couldn’t be happier bringing my kids here to learn not only Jiu Jitsu, but also manners, respect, sportsmanship, and discipline. My kids have gained so much confidence and have made many new friends in the year they have been training here.

Here is why: I am 48 years old and have been training martial arts most of my life... starting with Judo and wrestling as a child. I have also trained specifically in mixed martial arts (MMA) and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 1994. I have fought and trained several fighters. Some have fought in the UFC. I call American Top Team in Deerfield beach my home and Master Rafael Rebello my instructor because it is an amazing school and he is an incredible teacher and person. The technique is top-notch and most importantly... Rafael cares about each and every student. I have NEVER seen a better children's instructor. Children not only learn technique - they learn respect and how to be a better person. Unlike huge schools where students get lost - everyone here is treated like family and gets the individual attention they deserve. I can't stress enough how wonderful the family atmosphere is. All the students help each other out and I have made life-long friends I call my brothers and sisters.
