Experiencia fantástica: I love Mecca. But specifically I love working with Coach Marlon Carson at Mecca. I was a garage gym grinder for over 15 years before I finally decided to use a gym for my strength and lifting goals. Researched many local gyms and finally chose Mecca because of Marlon and what he brought to the table. Been working out with him for 3.5 years. Though the gym moved locations, grew and had many changes with staff and atmosphere, Marlon has been an anchor for the Strongman, Powerlifting, and Strength and Conditioning crowd. Due to his expertise, comfortable personality, and desire to help me reach my goals, I've been able to conquer not only gym PRs, but also other strength and conditioning goals I set for myself like lifting strength stones in Iceland, climbing mountains and excelling in backcountry hunts. But Marlon has also inspired me, where I have chosen to take lessons learned in the gym of grit, resilience, and overcoming failure, and applying them to my personal life, as well as my business. Honestly, Marlon as my coach is the reason I've stayed at Mecca all these years. He brings value, expertise, exceptional credentials and a personal style that are next level.

He's an intelligent and engaged owner/trainer who definitely knows his stuff! The employees are super friendly and helpful. The equipment is the best I have ever used. Clean, New and has everything you need to have the workout of your life. 10/10 would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Coming from out of town, this was my first time visiting The Mecca Gym! I was extremely impressed with the facility, equipment, and my coach, Ryan Douglass. He is very knowledgeable in the fitness world and really helped me understand the proper technique to certain exercises and the science behind it. I had a ton of fun learning and training from him and would 100% recommend this gym to anyone. When I’m back in town, I will for sure be scheduling another session! Thanks Mecca Gym!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a known "gym environment" hater and have primarily enjoyed working out at home with my own home gym....HOWEVER that was because the Mecca was not my gym before I joined a year ago. Seriously the BEST gym I have ever been to. First of all, it's very much like a "family" of sorts. Everyone is friendly and they take notice of your progress and milestones with you. I haven't ever felt intimidated by the incredibly dedicated athletes that work out there, quite the opposite, they cheer me in my efforts and have never put me down. Also, my trainer Abbi Cannon is the most stellar human alive. Her programming is challenging and pushes me out of my comfort zone and lets me find out how strong I am really am. I just cannot say enough good about the way this gym has improved my life over the last year!

Experiencia fantástica: Great facility for my visit. Helpful staff, some of the best equipment on the market (and they keep buying more), and a clean environment. Even the music was pretty decent. I've definitely found my go-to gym for my visits to the Boise area.

Experiencia fantástica: This is an awesome gym with great hours (24 hour access). The combination of bodybuilding, power lifting, and strongman equipment make it the gym of choice for any serious strength athlete in the area. There are platforms, bumpers, power bars, squat bars, specialty bars, log, tires, chains, etc. Even a competition Eleiko bar and ER rack setup in the back corner. Additionally there are numerous body part machines and dumbbells for all your accessory work. Locker rooms and showers are small but clean. The place is well kept and maintained, and staff was very friendly.
