Experiencia fantástica: Great place for seniors to exercise as we socialize with each other. Nice gift shop, the swimming pool is my favorite place, there is a lunch program during weekdays for 60 year olds and over. The staff is very helpful and kind; the Friday night movies and the movie is shown again on Saturday afternoon if you didn’t make it for the Friday night movie time, There I’d a snack bar in the lobby, exercise equipment and there are many craft classes. Pickle-ball is a popular sport there, basketball, and dance lessons. I have really enjoyed being a member of the Summit in G.P.

Experiencia fantástica: The Summit is one of my most treasured places in Grand Prairie. I became a member 12 years ago and credit this place with my health improvements. I love the pool, use the indoor walking trail and the fitness machines/equipment. Now that I'm retired I hope to spent more time there especially during the day instead of toward closing time. I appreciate the laid back atmosphere and how clean it is. They also offer many programs that I might have time to check out now. It is definitely one of those places that also retain me as a resident even though I no longer need the proximity to jobs. Been a resident of GP for 20 years already and the summit was a huge city improvement in my opinion. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: For me exercise is a lifetime commitment. Summit has it all:friendly staff, exercise classes, a large pool, Friday movies, and machines. I especially like the people who come to improve their health. I really like the pool at Summit and do water aerobics. The pool is beautiful with large picture windows. I have access to a hot tub, vortex, and private shower to wrap up the experience. I've been coming since 2010.

Experiencia fantástica: The pool is always relaxing . Spa, sauna and exercise equipment in the pool makes the experience most enjoyable. Classes are interesting and the life guards are very attentive. Exercise equipment upstairs has something for every level. Friendly staff, clean areas constantly monitored and kept up.

Experiencia fantástica: Omg my home away from home we go and play water volleyball maryjane wonderful life gard very helpful and exelent & efficiently talent and attentive to our needs she's jump in the water several times to assist a person in distress our manager on top of things taken care of the maintenance of the overall place friendly & CORGUIAL making everyone feel welcome which is a huge place so beautiful clean the staff incredible can't say enough about the over all place

Experiencia fantástica: Wish I could give more than five stars to this place it's amazing. It's for the over 50 crowd. For all the facilities available to individuals in that age range, it's about the best. Anyone that hasn't been really needs to go oh, I mean that sincerely.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly members and staff. Place is geared to older participants wanting to work out; continue thearpy; have fun with billards; cards; get lunch; watch a movie. My favorite is the pool and hot tub. Best is NO KIDS.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility is excellent! It provides so many options to keep mature persons active and engaged. The showers have an underwhelming urine odor that needs to resolved.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful place for Grand Prairie's Senior Citizens. Annual Dues often covered under your Medicare Silver Sneakers or other senior activity program. So many different activities to choose from. Some activity, whether sedentary or very mobile, almost everyone person will enjoy. Super staff. Mobility assistance available. I like the fact no children are allowed. Nice to be peaceful and quiet.

Experiencia fantástica: A very nice activity for individuals 50 and older. They rent out rooms for various activities. They have a gym, pool, movie theater and small snack bar area. The staff are always nice and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: If you are over 50 and looking for a great place for healthy activity, this is it. Beautiful, convienent, affordable, and Fun. You owe it to yourself to at least check it out. I'm loving this place and my water aerobics classes, pickle ball, movie night, and like minded people.

Experiencia fantástica: What can I say about the Summit? This is the most fabulous place to have a membership for over 50! Everyone is SO kind and helpful. It's always clean. It offers an indoor pool and hot tub, movie theater, gift shop, shuffle board, pool tables, tables to play cards or dominoes on, a cafe named the Terrace, rooms for ball room dancing, concerts, daily lunch served in the lunchroom and the whole upstairs is nothing but exercise equipment with a track to walk or jog on. There are also groups that get together to make jewelry, tatting, crocheting, adult coloring, painting, pottery. There is a court where volleyball, basketball and pickleball are played! They have a message room that is a separate fee. I'm sure I'm missing something but this place is a little slice if heaven for all...over 50!

Experiencia fantástica: We enjoy the walking track and playing in the Billards room. We just started exploring Tia Chi and my husband is enjoying the the Texas Hold'em card games. I'd like to try some Volleyball in the future and start up working on the exercise equipment. It's a great place to get more active. I also want to meet up with friends who are going there. The little meal/snack bar has some great prices. Looking forward to having a Friday lunch with a friend. We haven't gone to one of the movies yet but, we are looking forward to that, too.

Experiencia fantástica: Looking for a great place where people over 50 have fun, work out and do excited trips around the Metrotex? The Summit is the place to be. I fell in love with the baby grand piano entertainment that welcomes you in some occasion right at the front door. The movie cinema is magical and free to the members. I love the low impact machines for workouts, and the pool is amazing for water aerobics. Don't forget the volleyball and other court games. We have a blast at this place! Wanted to show some beautiful pictures of our 50+ Club in Grand Prairie. Anything you can think of, we have it at The Summit! Beautiful inside and outside.

Experiencia fantástica: My sister and I hosted our grandmother's 80th birthday, mom's 60th, and uncle's 61st here at The Summit. This place is more than just an amazing location to work out but an ideal venue for a great party in one of their ballrooms. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Our guest had a ball!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this place! There is always something going on. It is clean and pleasant to be at. My only issue is that there are not enough bikes on the second floor. I know the bike has a sign on it that says 30 minutes per person only but I have not seen anyone just do 30 minutes. I do 60 myself becauseyou know if you need to do a little something. It would be nice if they added more bikes

They have better physical fitness equipment then most of the health clubs in the area. Throw in a small theater, a cafe, pool tables, garden area, meeting rooms, organized games, and more and it just can't be beat!

Experiencia fantástica: Clean swimming pool for self exercising and laps, level walking/running track and free weight and balanced weight room with exercising machines, even semi-private areas with machines. They also have free small towels, to be returned, vending machines and snack bar. Plenty of various sized rooms for conferences or game gatherings. And they take Silver Sneakers! I have fun when visiting Grand Prairie, TX. and family.

An amazing swimming pool, well equipped weight room, great walking track, a cafe for healthy meals, a theater, billiards room, class rooms, a gift shop and a large gym. There are exercise classes for every ability level. It is a delightful place to meet up with friends.

Experiencia fantástica: I love the Summit. It has a complete work out gym with machines, track, basketball/ pickleball court. It also has a cafe and movie theatre, ping pong and crafts and a store. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Wonderful place.

Walk around the measured run/walk track on the second floor and enjoy a great view. Work out with state-of the-art strength and/or aerobic machines. Take a group exercise class in spinning, water aerobics, kettle bell, etc. Go for a swim in the pool or walk the vortex— log those laps and to get recognized for the month! Speaking of which, interested in competion? Try Pickleball in the gym. Done exercising? There are saunas, a hot tub and plenty of clean showers in the large locker rooms. Muscles a bit sore? Schedule a massage. Is billards more your thing? Got it—a league actually. Want to learn something new? There’s classes in pottery, painting, jewelry making and so much more. Just want to relax and watch a movie— the Summit has its very own movie theater— free for members, with a variety of concessions for only a buck! Hungry? There’s sandwiches, salads, beverages and much more available at exceptionally reasonable prices in the lobby. Grab that cold drink and head out to the patio overlooking the lake, where you can watch (or join) a game of horseshoes. And before you leave, be sure to stop by the gift shop and check out items made by other Summit members— buy local! Ahhh, its good to be 50!!

Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the best city owned and run 50+ centers in the USA. My friends from LaGuna Niguel, a really upscale community south of LA, visited this site and were blown away. They said it is far superior to what they have. Another plus is the low membership cost. People 65 or over currently pay $55 per year.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a first class fitness & social club for a 50+ clientele. It publishes a monthly extensive activity bulletin available at the first of each month. The swimming pool & gym areas are first rate. The support staff are friendly and knowledgeable in dealing with the mature users.

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my Mother and Aunt for their high school reunion. Grand Prairie 1950 to 1955. They had a great time! The grounds and everything are beautiful. Lots of activities to choose from. Employees were incredibly helpful. While there I locked my keys in the car and Mike helped me for at least 30 minutes trying to get in. It was a wonderful day in spite of the keys!! Thanks so much!!
