It's a place for all ages with a good selection of classes. The high wood ceilings make it have a 'spa' type / relaxing atmosphere. Very nice group of others working out -- polite and happy people.

Experiencia fantástica: Best pool in Greenville. If you are a regular visitor from out of town, get the 12 visit pass. It come to around $6.5-7 per visit vs $10 that you pay every time. You also won’t have to fill out paperwork each time.

Experiencia fantástica: The pool temperature is too cold. The board always says in the 80+ but it is not. I have authuralgia and left today hurting . I got in to my waist but too cold. This was my second visit. I signed up just to swim. Today was much better. 87 degrees! Had a great swim. Very nice facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I love GHS Life Center. They have every piece of equipment you can imagine. The facility is very spacious and clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is quiet, comfortable and I don't go in feeling intimidated. I take this HIIT class on Wednesdays at 6:30pm and it's tough but awesome. I do believe they offer it more, but I'll work my way up to that. The instructor is Clarence. He helps us with form and makes sure we are doing the workouts properly to prevent injury. I'm thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and benefits of the Life Center.

Experiencia fantástica: For those of you who are recovering from an injury, cardiac issues, or overall have health issues in general, this is probably one of the best places to go to get your body back into shape! They have TONS of both nautilus AND free weights for you to choose from, as well as exercise bikes, steppers, and treadmills. They also have an Olympic size swimming pool too! A really wonderfully knowledgeable staff too! For those of you who are disabled, like myself, best to go as early as possible, else you won't be able to get a handicapped parking space close to the entrance. This has always been a big deal with me as it is very difficult to both tote a gym bag AND propel my manual wheelchair up to the entrance since the parking lot is on somewhat of a slight gradient.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at this gym has been great. Such friendly staff and members. All members are welcomed no matter our size or whether we're dressed in the latest workout attire. Keeps my arthritis under control.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place! Been coming for over four years. The staff make you feel like family. The gym and locker rooms are very clean. Nice indoor pool and I love the outdoor running track. Someone stated that it is dark inside but I actually love the lighting and ambiance it gives. I hate bright flourecent lighting of other gyms. I hope they never change the lighting!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent facility for supervised physical activity. They have a wide variety of exercise machines and an indoor track. There is an outside walking area too. There is a pool that can be used with certain restrictions. I give The Life Center two thumbs up!

Experiencia fantástica: Our favorite place to work out in Greenville. 55,000 square foot area with a variety of cardio and weight machines. Has a great indoor pool. Fitness classes and training sessions. Pilates, yoga and massage. Dry sauna for men and women. The PATH program is the best value: gives you access to ALL Greenville YMCA and the Lifecenter for 60$/m per couple. Cannot ask for more!

Experiencia fantástica: My family has the PATH plan through the Caine-Halter YMCA, which means we can use the GHS Life Center as well. I actually prefer the Life Center to the Y because of the indoor track, the stairs into the pool (for old fogies like me), and the little changing rooms attached to the showers. My only wish is that recumbent bikes were available in addition to the more traditional stationary bicycles.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome gym. Members are diverse in fitness level and age which makes for a nice feel. Lots of equipment and even a large cleared area where you can do your own thing without getting in peoples way. Architecture of building feels like a sanctuary, lots of windows.
