Experiencia fantástica: We were members for many years and dropped our membership under the "old" management. They closed their doors some time after that - no doubt they had lost quite a few members due to their mismanagement of the club. We are so glad that the original owners are back. The place looks great, staff are super friendly. It's obvious the new management is committed to bringing the club back to its original glory days. And the rates we pay are about what they were when we joined originally around 10 years ago. A great place all around and we're happy that we rejoined.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member since the club first opened, when my sister and I joined. HFAC is super clean, with superb staff. We joined when our daughters were young because they could swim while we worked out. What other clubs offer that kind of service? When they didn't want to swim they stayed in the fabulous day-care facility. The cousins learned how to swim while playing in the pools. They are grown and gone on with their lives now! I love the group exercise classes and the treadmills with cable TV. Most of the group classes are not overcrowded. I love the Les Mills Body Pump and Step classes and the instructors are very experienced - and FUN! It is pricey, but you get what you pay for!

Experiencia fantástica: We have been members for 14 years and love the place. It was hard when it got mismanaged by Oregon Athletic Clubs. The Original owners have taken it back over and are getting it back in shape. It has a great family feel unlike most athletic clubs.

Experiencia fantástica: My aunt and I had facials, pedicure and manicures. One of the best experiences I've had at a day spa. Everyone is super friendly. The facilities were clean and very organized. I'm now thinking of buying a membership.

Experiencia fantástica: Hawthorne Farms is a very nice gym. They have a great pool, plenty of cardio equipment, and a good weight lifting area with barbells and machines. We have had amazing service from the entire HFAC staff--and I have always felt very welcomed when I walk into the gym for a workout. I was also very impressed with how they handled the pandemic--all the machines were spaced out and several cleaning stations were installed throughout the gym.

The front desk people are always so kind and say goodbye as I leave which is just a cherry on top of my workout :) couldn't ask for a better gym experience. Pre-covid they even had towels and shampoo and conditioner in the showers which was suuper helpful when I forgot to bring my own.

Experiencia fantástica: Anyone who would say this club has gone down since the new owners took over needs to have their head examined. The club was in decline under the ownership of Sam Adams and the finance company that took it over from him following his debt default. The club is now operated by the original people who built and opened it. It is clean and maintained with a full compliment of equipment and activities. Locker rooms well supplied. Snack bar/Cafe with healthy food and snacks. This is a great club for families and individuals as well. I have been a member since the original opening of the facility and have never been more pleased with the club.

I have always loved this club and all it’s amenities, but I’m even more thankful now in the middle of COVID to have access to this wonderful workout facility. The large building and rigorous cleaning standards ensure appropriate social distancing and a safe workout. GREAT JOB Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club! Experiencia fantástica: Positive: Professionalism , Quality They are keeping everything clean and everyone safe during the lockdown. My wife and I are taking Reformer Pilates and the machines are more than 6 feet apart and we wear masks all the time. They have many other classes both online and in person.

Experiencia fantástica: We cannot say enough about hfac. My family and I have been members for almost two years and we still look forward to going! From childcare, equipment, classes, swimming, etc. They have it all! We are always greeted with a smile and made to feel like we belong. Our daughter absolutely loves kid central and usually doesn’t want to leave. The date nights and other activities offered are always top notch, well planned out and executed. Anything you could want in terms of fitness is offered! A variety of group fitness, Pilates, you name it. We are so grateful for all the hfac has to offer and proud to be members! We are looking forward to the updates to come and for the cafe to be open come summer.

Experiencia fantástica: The only gym around with an indoor walking track for rainy and regular days. I live that I can also take business calls there in a comfortable bsitting area if needed and then continue working out. Zumba at night is the best and fun workout!

This athletic club has been more than a gym for the community and I really hope they are able to make it through COVID 19.

Since the beginning of Covid, the staff has continued to keep us updated and provide us with virtual classes to keep us on track. Now that they are open, there couldn't be a cleaner facility or more cautious people. Thanks so much.

Experiencia fantástica: Left 24 hour Fitness with no where to go. Did a guest pass at Hawthorn Farm and enjoyed the feel. All the necessary equipment and without the crowds, quality running track and large clean pools, especially nice indoor pool. Boutique without the attitude. Friendly, responsive, lots of family friendly add-ons and diverse selection of group classes. Online classes continue through this challenging time are greatly appreciated. We're continuing to pay our dues hoping they make it. Best of luck.

I love attending their Body pump, Body combat, Cycle, and Yoga classes after my regular work hours. The gym instructors are amazing and they make the class enjoyable. I highly recommend getting a membership!

The staff is helpful, friendly and works to make the club one of the best. With this recent pandemic altering so much in our lives, HFAC has gone above and beyond in keeping us safe and healthy. Experiencia fantástica: We were looking for a place that our family of 5 (ranging from 2 to 12) where the kids could play basketball, do activities, swim and also do traditional workouts. In our area nothing was reasonably priced. Until we decide to check out Hawthorn. Not only is it reasonable for our whole family but there is a ton of extras we never expected.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this gym since I was a little girl. It has changed hands over the years but the quality and cleanliness had not. Sure there are a few machines who's headphone jacks are a little fuzzy but aren't those going out of style anyways? The staff is always so kind and the atmosphere is calming and yet, makes me feel like I can do anything. They have a wide range of amenities from family locker rooms to a spa that is luxurious. So many different classes for varying levels of difficulty are offered. There is no shame in trying something out. Come be a part of the family! ❤️⛹️

It was a foundation for my personal wellness path : physically and emotionally. Heather Mell's Les Mills BodyCombat Class reignited my internal warrior. She inspired me to lead others as an instructor and then personal trainer, and now personal coach. The opportunities, friendships and connections that ensued afterwards were beautiful. Love the place. Love the people.

Experiencia fantástica: It's a great place is you can afford it. Too pricey for me. They have separate areas for cardio and weight lifting. A big basketball court, A snack bar, Swimming pool, lots of lockers for storage, clean restroom/dressing rooms

Experiencia fantástica: If you can make the classes work with your schedule; then this place really has a lot to offer. All of the amenities of a true luxury athletic club (stream room, sauna, multiple pools, hot tub, spa/massage parlor, deli), plus some unique cool stuff like the climbing wall, reformer Pilates classes, Les Mills programs, new bikes in the spin class room, etc. There aren't a lot of gyms that you can go to and have pretty much all of the equipment open without too many people... but this is one of them. Phil is the man, but the entire staff is really awesome. Sara was/is really an amazing Pilates and yoga instructor, but she got promoted. Diana was also wonderful but has moved on to other things as well. Pretty impressed with everyone's skills and attitudes. I once took the body pump clad and was sore for a week. You could pretty much make your money back from the dues just by using the super affordable child care to get you and your spouse/significant other/baby mama a break for a couple of hours to sneak in a work out (or maybe even a nap). Not sure what else to say about this place other than "sometimes you get more than you pay for".

Experiencia fantástica: I have been the GM of since April 2nd and I can say that the ownership really take this notion of being the Heart of Hillsboro seriously. Each time you walk in I get greeted, when I leave I get a warm see you next time, the club keeps getting cleaner and cleaner. My wife and son loved the Monster Mash and Summer party, you really feel like family at the club. Keep doing what you are doing. So glad the original owners are back in charge. Well Done Hawthorn Farm .

Experiencia fantástica: Clean, well equipped facility that rarely feels overly crowded. Child care on site is very helpful. Group fitness classes (yoga, Barre, Zumba, circuit, body pump, etc.) included with membership. Nice pools. And a bistro.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a visiting team's coach at the swim meet last Saturday and I believe that whoever ran this meet did an excellent job!! The heat sheet was straightforward, the announcer did a great job announcing which event was up next, and I thought that the meet ran smoothly. Overall the meet was well organized! Nicely done, Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love this place! The staff are all very nice, helpful, great customer service. Everything is always clean, when entering the locker rooms, there's always towel's, water, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc My daughter had swimming lessons, we had 2 very very good instructors, Leslie & Mia. They did such an amazing job with my daughter who was kinda terrified of going in the water, now she still to this day uses everything she learned! My daughter had quite a few favorites here & that's hard to do!

Experiencia fantástica: Price is a tad high, but it's an out of the way privately owned club. Much nicer than the 24 Hour Fitness's in the area. Very well taken care of, nice locker rooms, good hours, I am constantly there at 5-6pm and the weight room has maybe 3 people in it.
