I travel all over this country for business and I can still tell you that 4th Ave Gym ranks right up there with some of the best. In Yuma, no body can touch them. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a member of 4th Ave Gym for about 9 months, now this isn’t the first time I have used this facility to workout in. The first time I used this facility was back in 1985 when it was a racquetball fitness center. Back then it was basically your typical white wall prison look a like workout gym. Since I rejoined this facility now the home of 4th Avenue Gym which was located on 4th Avenue the owners have decided to upgrade its look in which was not far from the old ’85 look and feel. So far the newly painted rooms not only looks great, but give me the motivation to want to go back on a daily basis - basically because it feels like home. The outside of the building is also looking fantastic not only with the new paint but the new sign with the black face during the day and white at night just screams “Look its even better on the inside come on in”. Ok I’m a bit winded just about done, got to mention the landscaping out front, what can I say except you have to see it. Tony Ramos you out did yourself yet again. All in all it looks awesome thanks 4th Ave for the great new look I can’t wait to see what’s next. “Get Stronger, Live Longer”

Experiencia fantástica: I love 4TH AVE GYM, unfortunately I moved from town and had to quit. I didn't had the opportunity to see the remodeling, but it looks that is getting much better than it was. Remain so and will remain the best gym in Yuma. Your guys are doing an excellent job. I hope to be back when I go back to Yuma.

Experiencia fantástica: Been a member for a couple years. The improvements that are being made on the gym are awesome. While it has always been a GREAT place to workout and the atmosphere and staff are the BEST the cosmetic changes that they are making right now both inside and out are really making the place not only be great for the body but also for the mind and they eye. Always a good workout if u put in the effort but great going guys on the beautification project. Keep it up. LOVE THIS PLACE

Experiencia fantástica: I've been working out here for about 9 months now, I like it much more than anywhere else in Yuma. I've noticed a considerable increase in the cleanliness of the place. They got a guy who's there in the mornings now and for the past month or so there has been a noticeable change especially in the locker room. I've been working out here for about two months and I do like it much more than Planet Fatness and Snap Fitness because of the selection of equipment and the Raquetball courts. I definitely get a way more effective workout here and rarely leave without feeling it the next day. My only real complaint is the cleanliness of the facility, mainly the locker room. I worked out at Planet Fitness (which us spotlessly clean) for over a year and a half and managed to not contract athletes foot but within two months of working out here have a pretty wicked case of it. Also, the toilets almost always seem to have the previous users butt crusties left on the seat and finally the showers, I know for a fact that they are rarely cleaned and disinfected because I've been looking at the same soap container and loofah sitting in the corner of the shower stall and pubic hair sitting atop of the soap dispenser for the past 5 days. Also I developed some sort of minor rash on the under side of my bicep, can't say for a fact that it's from the gym but I speculate that it's certainly possible as I NEVER see any staff wiping down equipment like I did at Planet. Bottom line, if it were cleaner I'd give 4th Ave Gym 5 stars but clenliness is kind of a big deal to me...

Experiencia fantástica: Have been going for the most part of 30 years. Always get a good workout. Any workout is what you make of it. The best part of the Gym is that they don't do things to get in my way of getting it done. The renovations look great!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have tried other gyms but, 4th Ave has great pricing with a personal touch that other places just can't match. They have great cardio equipment with individual televisions, circuit training rooms, as well as free-weights, raquet and basketball courts and free wifi. The pool area is quiet and great for swimming laps. With the recent remodel, the gym is looking better than ever. The rooms are lighter and brighter, there's new art-work going up on the walls, beautiful landscaping, and I hear work in the bathrooms will begin shortly.

Experiencia fantástica: i started using 4th about 3 months ago, i had a membership at another local gym, so 4th was my option to get out of my routine. i would use it on back/biceps day only and would pay day passes evertime. However i got hooked and ended up canceling my other gym and getting the full membership at 4th. I LOVE the amount of free weights they have, benches, machines and cardio! I also enjoy the environment and atmosphere it has. Now that they have made improvements and remodel it, its 100% better. The new posters are SICK!! they motivate you and pump you up and it has made the gym feel a lot more "modern" but without loosing its "old style/pumping iron" feeling! i am really please with the improvements and also with what they offer, best GYM in town! ;)

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I have been members for a little over a month. The gym is great with the variety of equipment we need for the diverse workouts we like to do. I've been a member of a couple of big name gyms on the East Coast and this one matches them punch for punch. At a better price as well. Very interested to see the final product after renovations are complete. Very highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: You get more bang for your buck at this place. I can't believe some people are saying the price is too high for an gym. This is NOT your average gym - go to any other gym in Yuma and then say that. There is no other facility that has as much equipment, cardio or strengthening, as this gym does and for the price they charge. How much does World Gym charge?? 4th Ave Gym has done a remarkable job on the renovations. I have gone to this gym off an on over the last 20 years and I still think it is the best! Keep up the good work. Customer service has always been great. I think somebody with an attitude came into the gym, not the other way around.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best facility in town if you are serious about doing work, and not standing around looking pretty and chitchatting. Great equipment: fantastic free weight selection, and plenty of machines, etc. Cardio equipment is already great and soon to get better. New "clean up" and remodel has done wonders to the atmosphere. Top rate staff, and excellent group of people who workout there. Very collegial atmosphere, and very few jerks or jerkettes. Great group of trainers, if that is what you desire/need. Can't give enough props to 4th Ave. Been in a lot of places, big city and small town, and this gym is among the best, if not at the top of the heap.

I live on Ave. B and 24th st. which means there is two closer by gyms I can go too (Worlds Gym, & 16th st. base gym), but 4th Avenue Gym is just beautiful. Yea its not $10 like Planet Fitness, but the people here are great, the remodeling of the gym is filled with energy. I just wish you guys would put back up the posters/pictures of the bodybuilders, like the few of Arnold in the hallway downstairs. Been a member since August of 2011 and will be till I leave Yuma. (which won't be another year) Keep up the great remodeling, add the posters, and "Get stronger, Live longer." Oh and the other funny thing is, I work on MCAS, which means I can go to a gym for free after work, but damn, I drive to base, work, and decide to still go to 4th ave. because of how it feels to be there, than base. No offense Marines, but its just so dead there. I love 4th ave. And the free wifi spot, BRILLIANT. Pandora during the whole workout. If there would be any flaws... is that the building should be put on the spotlight of 4th ave because the building next too it just blocks the glorious view of the gym and its outside renovations which are also nice. 10+ (I posted this about a month ago and it never showed, so here it is again.)

Experiencia fantástica: A great local gym that offers something for everyone. Cardio room, old school weight room, racquet ball, weight machines, and a room with punching bags. The equipment is well maintained and the locker room is clean. They offer day passes.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything you need in one place. I prefer to swim - the pool is refreshing and clean! Okay for laps - less than 25, maybe 18? But still okay for a nice swim in the 105 degree heat. Profoundly better than the hotel pools. Here's the best part - a day pass is only $12! Great for an out-of-towner! Lots of free weights, machines, bikes, you name it. Friendly and welcoming staff. Couldn't ask for more. Can't say thank you enough.

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is great. It's old school gym. Which means weights get put back after each use. No taking two exercises at the same time. It's small but it has everything you need. Staff is exceptional friendly and are there to help out and make sure rules are in place.

I love using locally owned businesses vs chains that may be a few bucks cheaper. So thankful to have a community driven business that gives back to our local high schools!!

Experiencia fantástica: Been to a lot of Gyms all over the world. This is a great gym, conveniently open 24/7. May depend on your goals, but it fits mine. I need to stay in shape for my career, and they have everything I need to do so. It's a little cluttered, especially by the dumbbells, but nothing that is unbearable.

Experiencia fantástica: Just visiting town for 2 weeks needed a gym to workout I thought I give this gym a shot. And it’s the best decision I made staff was extremely helpful and nice. Equipment was awesome I feel that old school vibe which I like and the Arnold posters that was pretty awesome too you never see that at gyms. I say this gym is better then my hometown gym hands down. For sure this gym is a go to whenever I visit town.

All of the staff is very friendly and encouraging and all the equipment always works and if there is any problems with any of it, it gets worked on right away. It must be the law of attraction because all of the people that frequent the gym are also very friendly and encouraging as well. Experiencia fantástica: 4th Ave gym is a bit crowded but has everything you need! It’s the best gym in town, and the price isn’t too bad. $35 a month or $58 for the family membership. I’m able to take my twin brother and nephew with me for the $58 family membership so we definitely get our money’s worth!

Experiencia fantástica: I travel year round all over America and hit gyms in just about every state. I get to Yuma a few days every few years and this is my favorite gym in the world. It has it all - including chalk. They have rogue equipment and bands, power racks, bumper plates, all the bars you could want...all the cardio equipment. This place is great for powerlifters, bodybuilders, whatever. No joke gym and a throwback to early Golds Gym.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendliest gym staff in town - very customer oriented. No contracts or startup fees which is a HUGE plus. Old equipment but who cares - it's iron, it's heavy, and it works great. My only complaints about this gym are that it's crowded - there is too much equipment packed into a small space - and that it's always hot in there - so you WILL sweat like crazy.
