Experiencia fantástica: I'm just happy they have LAP SWIMS, I use to swim at the Parks but the mayor she has know clue about swimming for a workout and for ME it's THERAPY for my HIPS there are shot from Playing Hockey all my Life and Swimming helps me to be able to WALK and Get around so I thx U YMCA for Everything !

Experiencia fantástica: Better than X-Sport! Strong statement but yes, this gym is better than x-sport in which I’m only comparing the two because they are close enough to eachother, if you wanted to make the switch. I love this gym because it’s never busy when I go. Plenty of equipment to share with others, and plenty of space. Secondly, the staff is super friendly. They have a pool too, which is an added plus. They put safety first, so they only close the pool when a lifeguard is unavailable.

Experiencia fantástica: Lake View is, in my opinion, the best YMCA in the Chicago system. I previously went to Irving Park, and while I liked that one, this YMCA is bigger and a little cleaner/newer with a bigger weightlifting room in particular and a dedicated aerobic/dance studio with almost every piece of equipment you could think of. This Y is very easily accessible by bus 9 (Roscoe stop) and is in a nice area too with coffee shops, etc close by. It’s also very close to the brown line.

Experiencia positiva: Very family friendly, great classes even for very little ones. Youth sports and camps are great and the variety keeps the kids so interested!

Experiencia fantástica: If you’re under 25 then this is a great gym option that won’t break the bank. Rarely crowded and the equipment is in solid condition. It’s kinda easy to get lost in here, but once you figure out the layout you’ll appreciate the different options
