Genesis Health Clubs - Overland Park

Experiencia positiva: Been coming here a year or so. Didn’t love how crowded it was and wanted to cancel. Called - they said to come on in and I would just have to sign something. I sat in the lobby waiting because I was supposed to have an appointment to cancel? They do make it difficult to cancel (appointment, must go in, lots of notice or you’ll have fees) so definitely think before making the commitment here. However, Kenton (manager) did show great composure when I was dramatic. I do think this could be a good gym for some people, just wasn’t the right fit for me.

Experiencia fantástica: Mike Friend is an absolute gem. He is extremely knowledgeable in his craft and will share all the education he can with you. He will give you a different experience than most other places. I highly recommend just sitting down for an initial assessment with him to see for yourself.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to this gym everyday for about 1 1/2 years now. It’s a little more expensive than some other gyms but you definitely get what you pay for. Also, the best Genesis by far that I’ve been too. The people are friendly and so is the staff, especially Alaina Alvarez. She helped me setup my account and is always cheerful and in such a good mood when I see her. I’d give this location 10 stars if I could thank you for a wonderful experience everyday!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I joined Genesis Health Club six months ago and have been very pleased. The staff is outstanding and the facility is well taken care of. The personal trainers are knowledgeable and always working with clients. The club is popular and the majority of people who work out there are extremely nice. Would love to see them expand the functional fitness and squat rack area in the future.
