In passing through Granada with an existing injury (Frozen shoulder), I requested a last minute appointment on a day they were closed. They put themselves out to help me. Having not slept in days and in significant pain, unable to speak the same language. One appointment and SEVERAL longterm issues, that I was aware of and ones that I had not mentioned were acknowledged. He is a magician! A MASTER in his profession, if I could take him home I would. This morning I wanted to move to Granada just so he could keep treating me!!! Amazing THANK YOU!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been seeing Julio for therapeutic massage for about 5 years and I"m always thoroughly impressed by his knowledge, technique, as well as, how I feel immediately after a session or within a couple days following a session. I'm naturally a more tense body type and have been an athelete all my life. I'm also very in tune with how my body feels and I love that whatever may be going on, I can tell Julio and he usually has a few suggestions with regard to his approach as well as for me to do at home, if applicable. All this even when I didn't understand very much spanish 5 years ago. He was always helpful to send me things in writing, in the beginning, so that I could understand what was going on or if there were helpful stretches or movements to do at home. I also never feel like I have to wait too long after requesting an appointment. I still continue seeing him due to the type of exercise I do such as Crossfit, hiking, biking, and futbol. As I age it's important to take care of the body I occupy.

Hago bastante deporte y flamenco y desde que voy a Julio, no tengo contracturas, mi posición corporal es mejor, las recuperaciones de los músculos también. Experiencia fantástica: Moved to Granada from the US and started bilingual yoga with Amanda my second week here. I love going to her studio in the Albayzin. It’s so peaceful. And I love practicing yoga with Amanda. It’s gentle but she also makes sure you work and stretch to the best of your abilities. She is fluent in English and Spanish and makes sure everyone can follow along and helps with gentle adjustments in your practice. Can’t recommend enough. Experiencia fantástica: I can’t recommend Quiroesencia enough! The yoga classes are challenging but accessible and deeply relaxing. As a participant in the yoga in simple Spanish course, Amanda has really done a beautiful job of creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and can learn. If you’re looking to engage your brain and learn Spanish in a new way, this is definitely the place. I’ve also gotten a massage from Josè Luis who is professional, kind, and extremely good at what he does. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The classes met all my objectives in terms of stretching, grounding and finding a space to have a truely pleasurable yoga experience. Unfortunately I never had time to have a massage - hopefully next time.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in Granada temporarily for work and I saw the great reviews online and decided to give Quiroesencia a try. I get massages fairly frequently and I left this massage feeling hands down better and more rejuvenated than I have ever felt leaving a massage before! The stretches Julio gave at the end for me to try at home to help with mid back pain seem to work wonders. I will absolutely be coming back.

Experiencia fantástica: I attended Amanda's Spring Equinox Yoga workshop last Sunday and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The two-hour class flew by and I felt calm, grounded and strong afterwards. I especially enjoyed doing some longer balancing poses, and setting an intention for the upcoming season. It was great to share some tea and healthy treats at the end of class, and get to know some of the other students better too!

Experiencia fantástica: I travelled from Ireland to Granada to see Julio, on the recommendation of a friend. I had been suffering with chronic pain in both my elbows and a connected, long term, shoulder/ neck issue. With a mixture of precision and strength in his massage work, he produced incredible results and completely changed the shape of my posture. He has an ability to see inside your body and understands the inner workings of the body. He uses several different methods of therapy and this allows him to approach your ailments from many different angles. On top of all that, he passes on his knowledge to you so that you can understand better your own body and try to prevent injuries from reoccurring.

Experiencia fantástica: Llevo bastantes años con dolor de espalda y yendo de fisio en fisio. Fue un alivio para mi encontrar a Julio porque mi espalda a mejorado bastante. No se centra únicamente en el músculo de la zona dolorida en concreto, sino que entiende el cuerpo como un todo y observa las diferentes zonas del cuerpo (piernas, caderas, clavículas, etc.) que pueden causar ese dolor. Estoy muy contenta con su trabajo.

Experiencia fantástica: El mejor profesional, buen ambiente , consulta impoluta, etc . Visita obligada cuando mi espalda pide a gritos que le quiten el dolor. Entras mal y te vas con 100kilos menos de peso en tu espalda. No solo te trata a nivel muscular sino a nivel osteo-muscular. Ubicación perfecta para quien vive en el Albaicín y granada capital. Totalmente recomendado.

En mi caso el diagnóstico de médico era una operación, que implicaba perder un pedazo del coxis. Después, de la primera sesión, empecé a sentir una gran mejoría y a día de hoy estoy completamente recuperada. Altamente, recomendado.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Julio on a friend’s recommendation and can’t recommend him highly enough myself. He helped me recover from a ruptured disc in my lower back after others had failed. Not only that, over half a dozen sessions he also identified and addressed other issues that were the result of my back injury or keeping me from healing properly. He has guided me through exercises and practices to keep my issues from returning. Two years later I’m still so much better than when I started and I have Julio to thank for that!
